In one of the ads for Halo 5 they mention “Master Chief died in the year 2060”, in Halo Infinite’s trailer, inside the crashed pelican there is a message saying “5/27/2560”. This is just something i noticed and this doesn’t mean that it will be Halo Infinite’s story. But its something i noticed and COULD be a hint towards the games story…your thoughts?
That was a mistake made on 343s side. They covered it up in the Hunt The Truth audio series as a mistake on the characters part.
If they haven’t learned from this and all the backlash it got, I’d be surprised. If they do revive this horrific marketing ploy, I’d be even more surprised.
