Why even have the option to search for a balanced match when you’re against players who are onyx and champion rank and yourself and the players on your team are platinum rank. What a joke, its like every single game. The other team will be diamond+ and myself and my friends are low platinum like 1-3.
I think it’s at least partly because of how low the population is. If there was a larger pool of players to pull from you’d get more even games but as it is now you have to reach for other players or wait comically long.

The team you played against strategically use a bronze 1 player and make them quit out after two deaths. They actually lose in games against people the same rank as them, so their “rank” may be higher than yours however I doubt their mmr is much higher than yours so don’t stress.
Lower pop means you’re more likely to match into less even games. Keep that in mind too. You’re also travelling in a team so the matchmaking system will match you against other teams too.
