i was just playing around with the halo 5 armour customization and i cant help but feel slighted as to how much better the h5 customization was? the amount of armour/helmet and visor options was insane not to mention i could actually pick my own colour combination. Every spartan in halo infinite looks the exact same contrary to what we where told and i do believe the actual design of the halo 5 spartans was better as well this aspect of the game is a colossal disappointment in my opinion and i know im not alone on this one, please do better 343

I do agree with you that Halo 5 had better customization with its color, but halo infinite encompasses some well designed armor. Halo 4 and 5 over designed all of the armor making them unhuman anymore. Simplicity is key to the design of spartans. Color options in infinite are scams and armor options are very limited, there is so much more to improve on, but we just need to keep pushing. Games like Warframe do microtransactions well, 343 does not. and Infinite is ages ahead of Halo 5. I hope you have a great time playing and see the potential that infinite has if they fix the game!

I have to completely disagree. halo 5 was the worst. you can say “oh the number of variations” but honestly most looked horrible and could only be unlocked from loot boxes. If you are gonna complain about infinite then you have to admit that halo 5 had the absolute worst monetization/customization and on top of that you could only pick a helmet and body. no control over individual parts of the armor. colors were free so that was nice, well selecting the primary colors was. visor colors, stances, weapon skins, and armor was all loot box based, and you had no way of selecting what you wanted. it only gave you a miniscule chance at what you want.
To me that made it leagues worse than infinite. Infinite has some frustrating stuff going on, but no loot boxes, and if I do buy a microtransaction I select what I want directly. Plus like every other halo game you customize individual pieces of the armor. Halo 5 never gave me ODST armor after 5 years. Within 2 months of infinite being out I have it.

I mean it does have to be said that this is 343’s first time trying a f2p game, so that’s why I’d be fine giving them the pass as long as they continue to act on fan feedback.
But I will say this, because it is a f2p game, I do still want 343 to make money, just through customisation that is not directly tied to armour itself. Other forms of cosmetic monetisation is what I’m fine with. Let’s hope.

I defended H5’s armour but I never imagined Halo would look this good. They just need to figure out how to properly fix the store/cosmetics issues.

It’s really not that hard to figure out…the community needs to quit buying things from all these game devs and then, they need to look at halo3 customizations…all these old formulas that made halo great and they act like they have to invent the wheel…they don’t, it’s all about the money…I’m consistently saying how much I love infinites gameplay…343 nailed that part but everything else imo is just a let down…I’ll keep playing but I’m not buying anything until we get some more content and customization…just super tired of paying full price for sub par games….”but 343 has a 10 year plan!” And? Lol
Yeah at least if I want something in infinite I buy it. If you wanted something in halo 5 good luck and or see you in 2 years if it’s legendary or mythic

Halo infinite really doesn’t have much for customization there is literally nothing for the mark VII the helmets and shoulder pads that are available should have been available from day one they’re very basic armor pieces I mean maybe not every single helmet but the mark VII helmet itself why tf is it level 98 in the battle pass

Trust me you’re not missing out on the Halo 5 ODST armour I have it and it looks terrible in comparison to even Halo 4s ODST armour I only have the armour tho not the helmet n I don’t even know how I got it n it definitely wasn’t from a REQ
Reach definitely is the best in my opinion it’s got a lot of customization even though it’s only shoulder pads and stuff like that but it still gives you a lot of variety compared to what we had in Halo 5 where it was only the armor and helmets and the visor and pretty much nothing else Halo 4 was the most diverse with how you could interchange everything almost but for some reason in Halo 5 they changed it to just a single piece of armor which I thought was weird

Halo 5 was terrible, the noble 6 helmet was absolute garbage.
Reach had me wanting to get bashed on for some armor. I have no incentive to donate 10$ for any cosmetics it’s just the progression curve of the game .
