Halo 5'a Current Population?

would anyone have a general idea?

I’m guessing around…300,000?

There isn’t any reliable data to check, but you should pose your question here.

Nothing to big. Last time i heard it was behind Battlefiled 4 which had a population of 32 thousand. Its hilarious because 343 actually thought that the content updates for halo 5 were actually going to work:joy::joy::joy:, I love how that plan completely backfired on them.

Well it certainly didn’t backfire. I’m sure it gave them enough population spikes every so often that 343i will cherry pick those numbers at some point. On average I guess that Halo 5’s population can’t be staggering since as you said I falls pretty low at times.

Would a Force Colonel idea or Brigadier General idea do,or does it have to be a General Idea?

Umm, not to be a buzzkill, but content updates do keep ppl coming back. Granted, the game should have been delayed, there is beyond an overabundance of Reqs, lack of decent maps. Nonetheless, free stuff do keep ppl coming back. They are trying a revamped version in Gears 4. You can buy your maps, or play on a rotating playlist. They are intent on giving ppl free maps, but options in buying to.

It did backfire. Halo 3 remained in the top 3 most played games on Xbox Live for 3 consecutive years until the launch of halo reach. Halo 5 dropped out of the top 10 most played games on Xbox Live within a month after launch. Although the population rose slightly after the updates it dropped back down quickly. The free DLC was a good idea but since halo 5 launched with such a huge lack of content, a huge majority of the population was dead by the end of the 2015.

No it didn’t. A back fire implies that it directly hurt 343i but it didn’t. Just because Halo 5 isn’t nearly as popular as Halo 3 doesn’t mean that their plan of “Free DLC” failed. Don’t misread my words, understand that if it failed that means 343i wouldn’t have gotten their predicted results which was players attention to the game. Multiple gaming sites reported on Halo 5 when a new material came out showing that 343i does have someone’s attention…or paid them.
