Recently I was playing all social playlist gamemodes and I found out that Infection gives you a lot more RP and Req points compared to other gamemodes like Halo 2 BR Slayer ect and I was wondering why it does. Any ideas why?
Probably because it has a long game time, it is hard to win and it requires more skills.
It’s because they had a trial period in which they set the payouts higher. Everyone liked it so they made it permanent.

Because 343 is cheap now and it was easier to re-skin a carbine instead of making a legit needle rifle. (Needle rifle is and has been my favorite rifle in Halo)
Not sure, some playlists always give out more then other playlists.
