Halo 5, not the best Halo, but not the worst. Why were so many things changed to standard Halo mechanics? Why not just add on to another great Halo? I want to know the general opinion on Halo 5 compared to other Halo games. (Don’t bash, don’t hate, don’t fight)
i like the game play personally, and if halo didnt try to change anything then in 2-3 titles it would be no different then COD, same mechanics just different maps and a new campaign. that in the long run would be boring if only graphics changed. H3 was my favorite halo until now, and its a toss in the air really which one is truly better.

They’re not trying to rewrite it, they’re trying to make it fresh and new.
Plus, lets be honest, if they released a halo that didn’t have any changes way more people would be upset, I know I would

> But look at the changes made between CE and 2? or even 2 & 3. They weren’t so drastic that it felt like a whole other game
This is their franchise now. They are delving into unknown waters. Listening to the comunity is definitely a one up from the previous owners.
