Did you enjoy halo 5 in any sense?
y really felt like the gameplay was a bit better than in halo 4, but things like the campaign storyline were… not great… in my opinion they shouldn’t have sold it as a “Halo 5” maybe more like a game that is just “close” but not really ON the main story, more like a ODST or Reach kind of thing
In my opinion, the halo 5 multiplayer (Mainly warzone) is the second-best in the whole franchise, just behind halo reach. The story is absolute trash and should’ve been thought out a little bit better and/or longer, anything to do with the campaign is almost unbearable to me e.g: achievements. I honestly love how warzone is played (except the REQ store) it feels like a bigger, better version of BTB and I’d love to see something similar in infinite.
Had so much potential but for some reason it didnt get any major updates
5’s multiplayer was fun (mostly played Warzone), and the general gameplay felt good to me. I played the story on normal to get a sense of things leading up to Infinite, but mostly stuck to multiplayer. Overall I enjoyed the game but prefer the MCC
I really do like halo 5’s multiplayer, but having to constantly switch controls from mcc to halo 5 is irritating.
However, I will forever hate husky raid maps. I like super fiesta and most things related to it, but husky raid is just, bad.
Halo 5 multiplayer wasnt bad i wasnt too crazy about the maps but the gameplay wasnt bad. Campaign was awful tho IMO.
5 was all around not good, just below 4 imo.
It’s only saving grace was the sheer amount of potential an advance mobility game can have with forge and a decent custom games browser. That was where it absolutely shined.
in campaign no, in multiplayer yes
Me, my other half, my kids and many friends all really enjoy halo 5 more then the olds. Maybe once n a while i want to get a little nostalgic but not often. My only wish that it got to PC sooner so warzone matches… Well matches in gen had more player numbers. I dont dislike the olds i enjoy flighting mcc seasons its just i feel i moved on from being that little kid that played halo 1,2,3…ect. Looking forward to infinite as its surely going to bring the halo family back together for this new modern game with so much halo legacy from all previous games im excited.
Reach and Halo 3 are both better than 5
I don’t mind Halo 5, I find it’s a fun game to play with Friends, but it’s definitely not one of the best Halos

It’s awesome that your whole family plays together. My sons not yet up to speed on the sticks yet, but we’ve played through so much doom clasilsic games, the mods that came out, it’s been a blast. So he only has the left right aim to worry about in that game. In infinite I can’t wait to load up a bots custom with him and power his spartan up to be OP and just watch him have fun with me there with him haha.
I love Halo 5 for the gameplay
I enjoy the H5 multiplayer a lot when I can quickly find matches. Love all of the forge maps that make their way into social arena.
Halo 5 was a massive step down from Halo 4. The only thing Halo 5 did better was Forge, and customs browser. 343i simultaneously made the best Forge in the series, and the worst multiplayer in the series.
The only thing I liked about Halo 5 was that Blue Team finally showed up in a halo game. And even that wasn’t done well because no context was really given for them and they had zero character development in the game.

Its one of the amazing things of being a dad, sharing our dad gaming skills lol. Both my two started with H5 they are getting old enough now that they are getting good. My little one loves killing dad lols and he does well sometimes. I agree the bots are going to be fun for the early learners im excited to continue the family halo experience with infinite. 5 campaign story is trash and has done a massive middle finger to Cortana. Multiplayer is fine. Forge I would mess around hours in.
