With E3 2016 a few short weeks away I’d like to see what you think 343i will announce, if they announce anything at all.
I think Bonnie Ross will stand on stage and reveal new PAID DLC available this fall, now with the first year of free DLC coming to an end let’s recap on what we got. Bearing in mind skins, forge, weapons, vehicles, armour, game types and remixed maps should not count as DLC (all that stuff should of been day one) we got 2 new Warzone maps (Warzone Assault maps are classed as remixes) and I think 2 new Arena maps (I don’t play Arena I’m a social guy so I’m not 100% on this number).
There will be no campaign expansions (not that I would expect them too).
I think a new HWC will be announced for 2017.
If, and I’m hoping I’m wrong, but if there is a teaser for Halo 6, We should see that as a sign that 343i are finished with Halo 5 and are ready to squeeze more money from the paying customers.
They will probably show us some Halo Wars 2 gameplay and a trailer. Halo 3: Anniversary reveal? 343plz. And a Halo 6 announcement and a teaser trailer is VERY likely.

What? No I highly doubt there will be anything to do with Halo 6 at E3.

No more remakes. We don’t need them and Halo 3 holds up well on the X1.

Really don’t see this happening OP. The main drive behind the REQ system and Halo 5 in general was not splitting the population with map packs, so all DLC would be available to everyone. I can’t see them reversing this decision after the first year, especially with the success of the REQ system
Year 2 makes me think of how Destiny treated everyone who bought the game at launch and had to pay an additional $40 only for it all to be treated as a beta for the game that had an additional $40 prise tag that rendered any previous content purchased void.
So as long as 343 doesnt pull a bungie year 2, anything they do is far better in my opinion.

This is NOT true.
> Literally a boring accounting rule. Fiscal year.
From Frank O’ Connor himself. Free DLC will be continuing as long as they make enough money from REQ packs to fund it, which is going to be for a long time.

Year 2? You do realiza Halo 5 has only been out for 7 months so we haven’t even finished year 1. Also i highly doubt any of that will happen. E3 for Halo wil, be about Halo Wars 2 and nothing else.

well there will probably be some sort of Halo 6 news.

Gonna have to stop you there, why don’t new vehicles, weapons and armour count. Halo 5 launched with over 70 unique armour sets, more then any other Halo game. how does all the post launch armour categories as “should have been in at launch”.
Same with the weapons, you could argue that the hammer should have been there but the Halo CE magnum, the SPNKR, the BR55, Jorge’s turret, the Plasma rifle and all the new variations are hardly in the same category. same with the new vehicle variants.
As for forge, H5s forge is massively bigger then the forge of any of the past Halos and they have continued to support it with great additions since they launched it.

Because its easier to blame them because they didn’t do something you wanted then it is to accept the fact that you assumed it was what you wanted.

Yep, I’ve only made 5 posts explaining I can’t get into matchmaking on MCC…Not like they care enough to even drop in and say “sorry to hear that” or anything. They truly do not care about MCC.
I think that would be a bad idea considering the cost of each req pack. I’m pretty sure a good substantial number people bought the $100 gold pack set. Or any of those sets, along with the HCS packs and the other exclusive packs that people got crap out of (I don’t think people understand that, you need to unlock almost everything to get the good stuff, and for that you need to play and grind down reqs). The microtransaction made from this game can fuel more free DLC that are in 3 months span. They just better be good. I bought the warzone req bundle and a couple of gold packs, I am not paying for a freaken DLC with better content that should have been in production and given to us from the very start to now. The only reason why these updates were not that great is because they were monthly. Strangely though, each of these updates were rushed and giving little content and can be done in a matter of weeks. It makes you wonder, what is the company really developing?
There is no year 2, Halo 5 isn’t some MMO like Destiny. What you can expect to be reviled is Halo Wars 2. I doubt 343 will add any new content after we get Warzone Firefight.
