Halo 5 Xbox one problem

For all the people who are already playing halo on the Xbox 360 does no one agree that they should think it over and release any future games on both the Xbox one and the Xbox 360. To the date that i very doubt many people will get a Xbox one if they already own the Xbox 360. But just from my point of view know almost any company that makes a game. they want the profit but limiting your community to just a single console wont accomplish anything. When a huge amount of the world already either has a PS3 or Xbox 360. It is just silly that they would just release it on Xbox one and nothing else I do understand they want to keep up with the world and it’s technology but that does not mean you only have to release it on the most recent released console. As of just an example of a proper set up is for what Bungie is doing with the new game destiny they are releasing it to ALL consoles that are released (PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox one).

Why would they release a game on an old system? While Microsoft does plan to support the 360 in the years to come, new games are going to disappear as the Xbox One simple has more power than the 360. Halo 4 practically maxed out the 360’s hardware, and that came at a bit of a cost.

Yes, many people have 360s and/or PS3’s, but before that, people had Xbox’s and PS2’s and Gamecubes, and before that PS1 and N64, and so on back in time. As time goes forward, technology advances, and the old must be replaced with the new.

And as far as Destiny, only the first game is releasing on current and next gen consoles. Future Destiny titles will be exclusive to the next gen.

 1. Halo is a system seller (Spartan Assault, CE, 3)
 2. Halo 4 was already pushing the limit of the 360

I understand that but to me having to spend $500 for a console to just get one of the few games that will be -Yoinking!- out shortly after the console comes out it self.I do do understand that they were just pushing it with halo 4 and its ability on the Xbox 360 that i wont forget but for me to go out and spend around $600 for a Xbox one and halo 5 just seems really dumb when i could have simply spent $60 for just the game. It is just how i feel about it and how they could try and fix it before the release of the game and console.

But the xbox one comes out this year and the new halo is next year so how is that shortly after?

um… Halo 5 is almost assuredly scheduled for holiday 2014, which would put it a full year after the console launch. That isn’t “shortly” after the launch.

Your example of Destiny is a poor one as they would have had to begun development for it well before the new console generation was guaranteed to be out in time. That basically guarantees that it was built from the ground up for the current generation.

A year from now there will be zero AAA titles coming out for the 360/PS3 as they will no longer be able to support the demands on the console.

Why would Microsoft want to harm the sales of the Xbox One by making their only flagship exclusive available on the 360? And also, Halo 4 pushed the 360 to it’s limits when it comes to hardware, imagine the loss that would be done with Halo 5.

I’m pretty sure that most people I know will be getting an Xbox One, and I will be getting two Xbox Ones… Your argument is invalid, again.

Also, making it available on one console won’t limit the fan base. But making it available on both consoles will limit the game, I don’t think anyone wants that.

Didn’t everyone just love playing Halo 3 on the Original Xbox? (It didn’t happen, deal with it)

Did you know that all of those people who own an Xbox 360 and a PS3 are limited to 8+ year old hardware? Did you know that Microsoft uses Halo as a key to sell their products? Did you know that everyone else also uses their flagship titles to do that too?

While Destiny is being released for both consoles, it’s sequels will not. You better start getting ready to “shell out $500” if you want to play future Halo games.

They NEED Halo 5 to be an XBO exclusive. Like it or not, once a killer app, always a killer app.
