Here’s MY list:
ARMOR-
And please note, this is focusing on the HELMETS.
Now we will start with CLASSIC ARMOR:
ODST- the visor looks a bit odd, compared to the Reach/H3 versions. Fix this.
Mark V- Looks like it does in CEA, keep this.
Mark VI- Perhaps have 2 versions, the classic version and the H4 version?
CQB- Where did this armor go?
Now, onto the rest of the armor:
Most (if not all) of these armors look a bit strange, just isn’t screaming ‘Halo’ t me. and WTF is up with Hazop? I will say, though, that Prefect was good.
ELITES.
In Halo 2, we got to play as Elites. In Halo 3, we could customize our Spartans and Elites. In Halo: Reach, Spartans got 3x as much armor, while Elites were FORCED to use a small number of presets, and only used in certain gamemodes. In Halo 4, Elites were void from multiplayer entirely. What I think would be nice is if we could EXPAND upon the Halo 3 Elite system. And, with a next-gen console, this can EASILY be done.
Armor Effects:
It would be nice to have Armor Effects in the next Halo. Perhaps maybe ONE flaming helmet, and you can change the color in the Armory/SPartan ID?
And of course the rest of the effects as well. And NEW ONES.
MUSIC:
Halo 4 lacked the classic soundtrack. Familiar music played TWICE in the game: when you first see the Halo Ring in the level Composer, and in the credits scene. If 343I could do an even mix of both, that would be amazing. And have the Halo Theme on the menu above all else. PLEASE.
MATCHMAKING:
Just…do it like Halo 3: Social and Ranked. And have a classic playlist.
SpOps/FireFight:
Both. If only one of them, firefight.
FORGE:
Appearance-
Along with custom colors, there could be an appearance option: Forerunner, UNSC, and Covenant. Forerunner would be like Reach’s, UNSC, like Halo 4’s, and COvenant, well, just Covenant.
Special Objects-
Place objects such as Skulls, Flags, Bombs, Spartan/Elite AI, etc.
Vehicles-
Troop Hog, Falcon, Hornet, Phantom, Pelican, Scarab, ELEPHANT, Sabre, Broadsword. Need I say more?
MOVING OBJECTS-
Halo 4 touched the edge of this with the Core on Impact. But here’s an idea:
You can enable/disable motion. if enabled you can set movement type(s), set start/middle/end points (up to 16 middle points, maybe?), movement flags, looping, and a timer.
Kind of like this:
Block, 5x5 Properties
<OTHER OPTIONS HERE>
-Movement
–Movement (Enabled, Disabled)
–Movement Type: (Rotate-rotates at set speed, Points-uses the PoM’s, Piston-moves up and down at set speed)
–Movement Flags: (Drift-Moves to next point depending on speed, Instant- teleports to next PoM instantly, Portal-Just a little idea, would go through a created portal to next point)
—Speed: (Does not affect objects with the ‘Warp’ Flag)
–Add next point… (creates next point of motion)
–Timer: (Would not begin moving to next point until this time has elapsed)
–Looping: (Enabled, Disabled; would restart back to first point after reaching final point, would remain at final point if disabled)
This could easily come in handy, kind of like Pinnacle in Reach, but the Antenna, Satellite would rotate, like it does in Halo 2.
MISC:
-Manual Nudging, Zooming in, and fix the front of the models.
-GET RID OF THESE KILL BARRIERS HOLY ****
And the #1 best thing for forge EVER,
FORGE WORLD:
Keep everything, and maybe even add the ‘Islands’ of Forge Island in the Forge World ocean?
And of course make some NEW areas beyond the Reach barriers.
And please don’t put it on Requiem, leave it on HALO!
