Halo 5 Xbox one and Series X cross platform

Will Halo 5 Xbox one players be able to play with Halo 5 Xbox series x players? I can’t get Series x but I don’t want the halo 5 servers to be dead.

Fear not, Halo 5 on the Series X is not a ‘new’ version by any means. Technically the XSX will just emulate the Xbox one, and when you play H5, you’ll play with people on both systems. Team Xbox do not intend on seperating people from one another. If it stands true, the ‘enhanced’ games will still play feature crossgen play with older Xbox consoles.

As of right now all Xbox One & Series X games are compatibly with eachother. The playerbase is not seperated by any means
