Okay, so this is really weird.
I bought my Xbox One new about a month ago. Got Halo 5 the same time.
Honestly I’ve left the disc in the system the entire time, until today. Before work I popped the disk out and immediately into it’s case, and played Halo: Reach a bit.
I just got home and put Halo 5 back in, and I’m getting the error that basically says “If you have the disk, insert it now…etc etc”
It reads other disks and DVD’s just fine. But simply will not launch Halo 5. The disk is pristine, no scratches, smudges, fingerprints, anything.
I don’t know this system very well, since I’ve had my 360 for about 11 years and it only recently began having trouble reading games, so I got the One. Since everything is so download-dependent now, could there be something iffy with the system causing this?
