Halo 5 won't install at all nxoe

Got a physical copy last night I popped it in my xbox offline and it started installing and installation stopped about 20 seconds later. Hard rest my xbox and tried again same thing. Hard reset my xbox again and tried to download it while online got prompted to update now or later no matter what option I pick the installation stops after a few seconds . Game never gets pass 0% this is bs. Anyone else have this issue

I had the same issue. Just remove the disc, uninstall all then hard rest your xbox. Turn it back on then install again. Do NOT update it, thats what caused my problem in the first place. Good luck bro! Hope this helps.

I’m having the same exact thing happen to me. I have tried everything, and after a few seconds it just goes to installation stopped. Tried not doing update, doing update and leaving system on for 12+ hours, hard reboot without network cable all with no luck.

After two days of trying I called Microsoft and they came to the conclusion I had a faulty disc and to go exchange it. I exchanged it at GameStop and shocker it still don’t work same problems.

You can now add resetting to factory defaults to the list of things that don’t work. On the bright side I have 364.8 gb free…

I went and bought the hard copy and I went to download it and I won’t even start the download but I can put in any other game and it works just fine
