I have played all of the halos, liked 2 and 3, hated reach and 4. This halo implements things very well such as sprint and AA. I have always been against those things, but they did a good job with them.maps are aweaome
Personally, I hate BR starts. It nearly ruins the game for me.
there ya go, once again another thread that doesn’t have a point to be on its own
It does. I see 1000 threads whining about how if your an old school player that this game is not halo. Could not be further from the truth. It is halo. Its a very good halo with BR starts
Theres almost no close combat with br starts atm, and that makes me sad
.Well im glad we got breakout!

same here. not the best & not the worst with one, but the game is already fast enough as is. it’s the same reason i don’t play team snipers. I like the weapon verity that the AR start makes. I like the feeling that i have a unique power weapon or close to one for a unique situation.
I dont like the AR. The BR gives u a weapon you can kill with at short, medium, and long range

I agree, but it should be something that you have to work for and control on the map, rather than automatically start with one.

Only if you use it right or fighting another BR. At close range, an AR will trash the BR if the AR user is competent enough to throw the BR’s aim off long enough for the kill.
So far, I’m not seeing how the AR is so OP as players claim to be with the changes the AR got, especially in BR starts. Any good BR player will not let an AR get close enough if they maintain 20 meters from it. Though I’ve only got 2 matches in, both times I’ve been having issues getting close enough. When I do, the AR acts as a good pick up weapon, something that the BR did whenever it is AR starts back in week 1.
I’ve had a hard time using Smart Scope, except when flanking an enemy. The headshot damage multiplier was still a difficult accomplishment as Bloom made that hard to perform. Sprinting away is not smart as that takes to long to get out of 20 meters. So far, it is best when used in 10 meters, and about even at 15 meters where good strafing technique and thrusters is key to victory.
I’m ok with it. The AR and SMG didn’t get played much in BR starts not because they sucked, but because the players played around the possibility and maintained enough distance to avoid the risk of being countered just as AR starts made players avoid being out in the open. A huge step up from being pointless like in previous games.

I love them. The BR feels so good to use.

Sprint just has to be removed now, and the game would play excellent.
Team BR’s in this game ruin it. I like the BR, but only as a pick up. Team BR’s need to go
Too much sprinting in AR start games. I very much prefer BR starts in Halo games.
I love BR starts. And given Halo’s history and the love for the weapon, there will almost certainly be a playlist w BR starts in Halo 5.

You must be playing wrong then. All games I played had a certain amount of CQB.
You can’t expect CQB 24/7.
