I think I will agree to this whole list.
Elites are a must to feel like Halo matchmaking. (opinion)
I would like the old 1-50 skill ranking but I would also like to earn credits to get armor, armor effects, and other things to -Yoink!- out your Elite/Spartan.
Also make the armor worth working for.
Improved Forge will be great for Forgers.
I agree with getting rid of H4 stuff. Oh and you forgot something.
- No Perks
I think it will obviously be beautiful because of the Xbone.
I think that a Vehicular Combat/Global Battle thing would be awesome.
Pelicans. We need Pelicans.

No perks is kinda obvious without loadouts but I added to the list just to make sure
CC/BR starts and the CC 100% = the BR. (they offer two diff play styles but have same Kill time.)
Honestly, I could max out the post limit 10 times over and still have tonnes of stuff left to add. But a few of the things I care about that aren’t constantly discussed to death:
[/li]- Locust. Fast, lightly armoured, can walk over rough terrain and up walls. Fires a purple beam weapon with the same mechanics as the Focus Rifle, only with a larger radius and slower overheat. In the same niche as the Warthog, Chopper and Revenant, all of which should return.
-
Viable UNSC air vehicle. Has proper helicopter-style controls (think Battlefield, GTA style). I understand that some people dislike this system, so we should have the option to switch to Hornet-style controls as part of choosing our controller layout.
-
Thruster pack. Default player ability; select direction with LS, boost with LB. Double-jump (press A while airborne) is more controversial, and while I think it deserves a test run at least, I’m not too fussed whether or not it makes the cut.
-
Aesthetic options in Forge. Give each object multiple textures and let us add foliage, light fittings, civilian vehicles, windows… basically, take a look at a “real” map and note the details that couldn’t be Forged. These are the finishing touches we should be able to add to our creations.
-
Faster base movement speed. Sure, we get a lot of discussion on Sprint, but this isn’t brought up enough. It’s the underlying reason why Sprint exists in the first place. If Halo 5 wants to be an arena shooter, it’s going to need the fast-paced gameplay that only a generous base movement speed can bring.

Locusts would be cool and don’t forget that there is a new UNSC vehicle that looks like a Locust. So since it is a building killer (Halo Wars) would it just be converted into anti-vehicle or anti-infantry? Climbs walls? This isn’t the Spider Tank from Watch Dogs.

Just a few points:

Some people objected, saying they found it too difficult, so I’ve decided to open up the control scheme and let people choose their preferred system. Everybody’s happy this way. I completely and utterly reject any suggestion that the option for proper controls should be outright removed. That’s completely destroying the entire concept.

The Mantis? No no no I also don’t like that thing. I can’t remember the name of it. I was just messing with you about the Watch Dogs thing. It would be better to have different styles of controls but there could be problems with that too.
The Pelican is boring to you. That’s your opinion. I have talked to tons of people that want the Pelican in MP (MM, Forge, Custom Games). I have also talked to people that want a larger playlist for vehicle related play.
The Pelican would be bad for the current MP like 4v4, 6v6,and 8v8 obviously but not if it was restricted to a larger scaled playlist/gametype.
- larger maps for forging and large scale battles
- larger player cap
- vehicle focused play
- map control
Aircraft are ignored a lot and especially with H4 where only the Banshee is available. Pelicans = support vehicle
I think vehicle play needs to make a comeback in H5. It wasn’t even worth getting in anything for H4 because all the vehicles were quickly taken out by players with power weapons, PPs, and plasmas.
No I am not saying that every map should be huge but at least 2 and maybe 3 maps could be for these larger gametypes and forging.
Its a basic UNSC rip off of the Locust but it would be cool to see it turned into something in the actual game. Well its not that new.
The first thing on your list should be the mongoose.

The mongoose and the gungoose.
