I would say they will release them along side forge, it would be pretty silly not to have the option for infection and koth in forge.

Halo 5 launching without those modes was confirmed weeks ago. And the flame wars that started from it left waypoint and halogaf scorched for days.

Don’t really care. You can’t really have gift ball or infection without forge.

They will have weekend social playlists that are gamemodes that will be available for the weekends. The popular ones will be given a permanent playlist. KOTH, Infection, etc will probably be added this way

We’re not getting Forge until December, so I imagine they’ll be releasing the full suite of game types around then.

343 are dropping to ball big time with Halo 5.

Good. I wish it didn’t have CTF in Arena. So it not having Oddball at launch guarantees it’ll be a whole before they add that to arena.

Arena should be limited to Slayer IMO.

Just to make sure, when building a new game on new technology, we must ensure that the cumulative functions achieved on the last generation are carried over completely for launch???

Hopefully it isn’t a year but yes, some stuff must be staggered in. 343i isn’t building a game you toss away a year from now, they’re building a game to love for the next few years.
If you’re someone that must have everything all at once, by all means, wait till there’s a game worth buying for you.

As someone said above Grifball and Infection are very reliant on forge so will probably launch around the same time as the forge update.

TS is ranked, Arena is seasonally ranked. We still need specifics on non-Arena rankings but rest assured, TS is ranked.
