Competitive playlists:

Team Arena
Team Slayer
Swat
FFA
Doubles
Breakout
Team Snipers (hooray!)

Social playlists:
8. Grifball
9. BTB
10. Action sack
11. Team Skirmish (I think it’s social slayer)
12. Infection
13. Triple Team Slayer
14. Super Fiesta
15. Shotty Snipers

Warzone playlists:
16. Warzone
17. Warzone Assault
18. Heroic Warzone Firefight (easier than normal)
19. Legendary Warzone Firefight (the normal as it is right now)
20. Mythic Warzone Firefight (Firefight with skulls)

343 will monitor the playlists and make adjustments where needed. All I gotta say right now is -Yoink- THE HATERS!!!

Ske7ch, can I please have confirmation that yes, all of these playlists will be in the game tomorrow? It sounds too good to be true, but I want confirmation. Also, will ranked stats be kept out of social and vice-versa?

Edit: Drell Assassin, could you confirm it? I don’t have the patience to wait for a reply

All I can think of is Oddball and normal Firefight, but this is -Yoinking!- amazing!!!

Can’t argue with that logic, I’m especially happy about permanent super fiesta, commendation grind here I come!

For the foreseeable future. They said they will monitor the playlists and make adjustments when necessary. So if everything goes well and each playlist has a good population, yes, they will be permanent.

If we want these to stay, halo 5 needs to have a good population. Luckily, many have said on YouTube that their few month break is over. In Xbox live numbers, I’d aim towards 15 or better in the most played list.

My money is that Team Snipers, Shotty Snipers, Triple Team and probably Super Fiesta will get dropped and returned to the pool of rotational playlists rather than be kept as permanents.

Let’s get some optimism and not pessimism. There’s nothing to suggest all those will be removed and made into weekly social playlists.

I think action sack will have KotH, not Skirmish.

Edit: Skirmish will have assault, slayer, CTF, and strongholds.

It kinda feels like Halo 5 is re-launching. Like, there’s just so much. This update alone has even more than some full FPS games right now.

Haha yah this update adds more playlists than overwatch had at launch. I feel like this update is what truly makes halo 5 into a content-filled game. Reach only 17 playlists if I remember correctly, plus halo 5 also has a customs game browser.
