Halo 5 is getting closer to occupy 100 GB in the hardware. And those monthly updates bring basically nothing , just a couple of new armors that just the people that pay for REQs will get and a game mode that should be in the original game. For that reasons i kind of stop playing for some time , and when i came back , i have a 8,3 GB crappy update to install … Damn 343
Time to invest in a terabtye.
Its really not the game, but the console
I don’t get why halo always has huge updates which your right shouldn’t be 8gbs and requires more space than any other game i own its ridiculous why is it so big and require so much space

but i am talking about the lack of content of the updates dude
dang. So Halo 5 has more content than the entire Master Chief Collection? XD
They also include maps and new Forge objects…

^ yup, ton of assets for Forge are dropping in these updates like sound FX, weather, terrain. The last update also, I believe, sneakily included the beta version of Firefight so that everyone is all ready to go on Thursday (don’t quote me on that)

Bookmarked for quoting purposes!
Ill delete h5’s updates when h6 is out or ill just upgrade to the terabyte. Im better off with the later since i expect elder scrolls 6 to be huge.

-Yoink!-, BANNED!
I think it has a lot to do with heavy coding. Since this game is being coded from scratch, all the DLC is too. Its just a heavily coded game, which makes the data larger, which turns into big storage requirements for the game. No big deal for me, I bought a 3TB external hard drive well over a year ago so I’d never have to worry about this sorta thing.

Quoted
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Yep pretty dumd
Not to mention I’m running out of room
Ain’t nobody heard of external hard drives?
External HDDs are the solution to this for me. I’ve had a Terabyte console from the start of being an Xbox Oner and across 2 Halo games, an Assassin’s Creed and 2 CoD games, I’ve used 65% of my HDD. It wouldn’t be too bad if my download speed was decent, but I certainly can’t keep deleting and reinstalling when I feel like playing, which is seemingly what Microsoft intended.
Good thing I’ve only got an xbox for Halo anyway
