Everyone says Halo 4 was terrible (I think its a good game) But Halo 5 i think will be a great comeback for Halo fans I myself cant wait but i just have a feeling this will be a great comeback and MAYBE Be The Game of The Year.
I hope to god your right! Really hope you are cos i was very disappointed with Halo 4 have to say, halo 3 is still the best not only halo but best game ever made for the 360!
Why do you think that? Just wondering because all I’ve seen was a teaser trailer and the games name and have no reason to believe that.
Im not sure why I do I just think it will have a good return. I mean im not positive but thats just what I think. All our opinions are different!
Oh and I made a secont post on this on accident sorry about that.

I know we all have different opinions and everyone is entitled to their own. I just don’t have the same faith that you do. This time around, I need proof before believing this game will be all that.
I have no reason to believe that Halo 5: Guardians will be any good.
I would love to have the same optimism as you, but after Halo 4’s mediocrity, I’m going to have to wait and see how the game plays before getting my hopes up again.
After all, everybody believed that Halo 4 would be Halo’s great return, and look how that turned out…
Same as the others, need to see there at least taking it back to reach standard at least and see shed load of gameplay and possibly play my self before getting it, halo 4 really has effected 343 and there community, they really need to pull something exceptional out of the bag!
I have faith in the development team, if they were able to admit they made mistakes (hopefully they know which ones) then they will make a better game IMO
Needless to say Halo 4’s campaign was amazing

YES have faith in them like puffffffy.

Um, what mistakes did they admit to?

I would like to see this as well. I haven’t seen any videos or articles on mistakes they have made that they admit.

That, at least, I can agree with wholeheartedly. Though this is coming from the point of view of somebody who has read all of the novels. People who had not read the Kilo-Five and Forerunner trilogies found themselves to be completely out of the loop when it came to important story details.

I too enjoyed the campaign. I have never really not enjoyed one (other than ODST). I read 2/3 Forerunner novels and nothing from the Kilo 5 trilogy but I read synopsis for them. Hopefully future installments do a better job explaining things in game. Those who read the books should be rewarded without a doubt, but not with pivotal plot points.
I (somehow and somewhat blindly) have faith in 343 but not in the community.
Halo 4 (MP) wasn’t up to scratch at all. However, I’ve always viewed Halo 5 as their real test, rather than Halo 4. Halo 4 was always going to be full of mishaps, bad ideas and concepts that didn’t work.
THIS however, is going to be the real test to see if they have learnt their lessons and listened to their community.
They say they have, and given the recent additions to their staff they’ve made directly from the community, the faith I had in them already to deliver a great and lasting MP game is as strong as ever, if not increased.
However, I, along with probably the vast majority of the rest of the community, am not rushing to jump on the hype train by any means and am keeping one foot solidly on Terra Firma until we see a lot more about this game, which isn’t going to be any time soon.
Time, as always, will tell.

Optimism and the reality of caution rarely go hand in hand.

What does the community have to do with it? We aren’t the ones in charge of Halo.
