Community feedback from a beta and dedicated servers is the only way to save Halo 5 from the backlash that Halo 4 is getting.
that grammar …
Beta doesn’t help, Reach had it, it did nothing. Halo 3 had two betas, it still had problems. Halo 2 had one, it still was bad before a TU. See a pattern?
Dedicated servers however, are a good idea.

Its really late, so either you contribute to the topic or get out.
Dedicated servers are a bad idea if there’s not enough, or if they don’t bother creating servers for places outside US.
Especially if there’s no server browser.
A beta will be useless. Dedicated servers would be a great idea, if it is executed like Halo: Combat Evolved PC’s online servers did.

So they worked really well with Halo?

Yes, they do. I run one and play it every night with family and friends. A good amount of people play and the servers work really well.
Says who?
