Halo 5...why is it still fun?

I ask my self this question everyday when I play halo 5 but after a very stressful warzone I came to learn that halo 5 isn’t fun because of the game it’s beacuse of the community. Take a look at the custom games. We have wipeout to don’t breath. Creative minds keep this game alive. Without them this game wouldn’t be the same

I just play to finally get that halo 2 br lol

Matchmaking has been annoying me lately. Every couple games i feel like uninstalling the game.

If I ever feel irritated by a match I usually play Big Team or Super Fiesta to cool off. Super fiesta feels so mindless and fun, can’t go wrong with it.

i have like 29 days of playtime in halo 5

The challenge of out-performing the enemy in a balanced environment has always been one of Halo’s main draws for me… wanting to excel over others in MM and improve as a player and grind for a higher rank.

It demands a lot of time and practice. Easy to get into, hard to master… That’s one thing a good Halo game does well. The competitive nature is a big part of the fun. Those tight 49-49 matches that get your heart pounding, the adrenaline is pumping, and for some reason it gets that much harder to hit your shots lol.

The game turns into a chess match… first team to make a mistake loses. Man, that’s Halo at its best!

i remember the halo 3 days where everyone had a mic in every game. It made it more fun ( for me at least) in ranked games.

I don’t know, I don’t play customs so most of the fun for me is how I use playing halo as a form of relaxation since I do t play super often. I love always playing whatever the feature playlist is or some fun competitive SWAT. Campaigns always a blast for me as well despite the story being a little bit lacklustre imo.

Agreed, every encounter is also diverse enough to stave away the monotony of a certain playstyle. I personally don’t get bored shooting because there are weapons around to change it up, I don’t lose interest driving vehicles due to the thrill of staying alive, and so forth.
For me in particular, I always come back to Halo for the vehicle combat. Much of the vehicles operate in a manner which isn’t quite comparable to contemporary shooters, such as Battlefield.
