Halo 5, Wheelmans need to be classed as assists

Quite simple really, I’m asking 343 to change Wheelmans to be also counted as assists.

Reasons:

-People being drivers in warthogs are getting poor ranks and K/A/D due to them driving rather than shooting. They shouldn’t be punished for this.

-Driving can take skill and should be rewarded.

-Ranks will be better matched.

-Better represented score (rather than just seeing someone on the scorecard at the end appearing to have done nothing all game, but they were actually ASSISTING the Gunner for kills).

-More of a worthy K/A/D score.

I agree. I think it would be fair for them to count as assists. I’m one of my teams two drivers and I usually don’t care as long as we can get some good kills. it would help my kda though.

I agree. I was shocked to finish a game after driving most of the game and only having 3 assists lol.

I agree especially in Halo 5 driving takes quite a bit of skill with the jumpy vehicles lol

Yes. Driving someone seems like it would be the most obvious example of an assist. Kind of confused as to why this isn’t a thing.

I think it was to prevent some KDA padding. Because if you’re a good driver you could theoretically get like 5 splatters every game & 20+ assists while barely dying. Maybe they could just make it so the stats all counted & showed up on the Scoreboard, but the Assists for driving didn’t count towards KDA or at a decreased rate.

I agree. It’ll give more incentive for people to drive.

Something needs to be done about it, even if wheelmans only count as .5 assists.
