So after playing Halo 5 for a while and with the various updates, I want to know what everyone’s favorite part about Halo 5 is and what their least favorite part about Halo 5 is?
The Good;
Game is well balanced, lots of fun to play and has great gameplay.
The Bad:
Too many missing features, like forge, social playlists and gametypes which all should have been available from launch.
My favorite part about halo 5 is the warzone game mode. The combination of ai bosses, troops, requesting what you want and 12v12 war is one of the coolest things ever.
My least favorite thing about halo 5 is the Spartan customization. All we have in this game is body, visor, and helmet. In Reach, we had body, helmet (3 variants of each helmet), wrist, legs, left shoulder, right shoulder, and armor effects. Those were the days. Also all the armor is in req packs, which is a big mistake in my option. armor should be unlocked and earned. Armor was about prestige in halo, now is a lucky mans game. People used to say, “wow i cant believe you got recon in halo 3”. Now people say, “you just got lucky getting recon”. you tell me which was better?

Forge is coming this December. Ive also heard they are working on social playlist as well.
My favorite part of Halo 5 is Breakout. Just about every game I play of it results in a tense, close match; it makes the game even more enjoyable.
My least favorite thing about Halo 5 would be the lack of social playlists; it seems like most games of Slayer or BTB that I get into usually are lopsided and not as fun. I know that they are being worked on and I cannot wait to see what will be included within them.
Best-Just about everything.

Ive seen the warden jump on my buddies tank in warzone and hulk smash his yoink* into another dimension. It was hilarious
I’ll agree that there is a limit of customization for your Spartan armor wise. But I think it’s cool how they added cool weapon skins, assassinations, stances, and war zone weapons. The problem I see is the req system itself. By no means is it bad or anything it actually serves its intended purpose quite well, I just prefer the old ways of earning your armor, like how in order to get haunted in reach you had to get all base helmets and reach inheritor. Now to get say mark iv armor/helmet it’s just a matter of luck which sometimes is cool but for the most part saps the sense of achievement from I all.
The best? Cricket noises
The worst: Everything.
Best: Arena is a lot of fun.
Worst: No Split-screen, for no real reason.
Poor forge controls.
REQ Packs no-one wants.
No really good maps.
Lots of missing content at launch.
Rushed story.
So yeah. More bad than good, in my mind, sadly.

After playing the game more, I have be severely disappointed with weekend playlist. First they gave us only 3 options to choose from (2 of which were game modes already in the game). Then, they took out voting altogether. Now, 343 just reuses old weekend playlist over and over again (like doubles)
