Fully installed? That’s not suppose to happen until 10.20, which version did you get?
I got the Digital Deluxe and still just at 132.1MB total
Looks like we will have to wait for Texture filtering in an update…

Same edition. 47 gb worth. That release date is for the people that are getting the Xbox.

No; 343 has said that you can pre-download starting on 10.20.15, but can’t play until 10.27.15
I’m just curious as to why mine hasn’t pre-downloaded.
Yes they said that for the people who bought the console. They are going to be able to get the console on the 20th and download the game then because it comes with the Digital version. It makes it so they don’t have to wait.
If anything just try reinstalling it.
Its not fully installed, the console is just reserving the space to install at a later date, (20th october).
If it was just reserved it would still be the 100 mb that’s been there. You guys are confused in thinking the 20th is the Digital release of the game. They gave thay,date for players who purchased the console. Which is when that will release and you will be able to download starting then for them. If you have the Digital version now then it’s installed.
The game isn’t able to be pre-downloaded until Oct 20th, 343 has specifically said this themselves. Unless you can give a link to an article proving otherwise, no one is going to believe that you have already downloaded the game.

There are a few people that were allowed to download it, and they are part of the preview program, it downloaded after the update. Not everyone has access to download it.

Halo 5 going gold is somewhat speculative until they make an official announcement. I’d actually be thrilled if that was officially announced.
So long as it’s not gold 6 months after launch day, we will be fine…

I am apart of he preview program I didn’t know that would affect it but in any case the game has clearly gone gold. Yes the game is installed as of right now.

ah blissfully unaware. like your’s when i go to manage game it says 46.2GB… but trust me its not, i tested your theory, my console says it has 64GB free in all storage, but when i uninstalled my pre-order it only jumped up an amazing .1GB so, no, it has not fully installed its just displaying how big it will be not how big it is, sorry.

It might not actually be installed, OP. Mine is saying “46.2 GB” but it’s not there yet. I’ve moved everything to my external hard drive except for Halo 5 and it says I’ve used only 5.5% of my internal hard drive. 46 gigs would be quite a bit more than 5.5%. So then I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it took less than a minute. 46 gigs would usually take at least ten or more hours for me.
So OP, what I’m saying is, it’s probably not fully installed, it may have just replaced 100mb with 46gb telling you what it’s going to be or possibly reserving the space, but, at least for me, it’s not there yet.
Seems I was wrong. Well mistakes are made. You all are correct. Just Uninstalled and reinstalled and it took 5 seconds. So yeah it’s just saying the actually size but isn’t taking it up
