Halo 5 Gurdians beta was better and perfect for all these reasons below.
-
Graphics had realism feel and look to the maps with the lighting.
-
The gameplay felt fast and fluid with the faster sprint speed.
-
Headshot bonuses for Assault rifle and SMG made them feel perfect.
-
You completely changed the design of Pegasus and Orion 2 of my fav and already perfect design maps :(…
-
Regret looks bad doesnt have the cool green look it used to have also no more lighting.
-
Eden lost the cool dark look it had now it looks horrible and way to bright.

> 1. Graphics had realism feel and look to the maps with the lighting. Give me an example of how the graphics looked better, because thats just BS.
> 2. The gameplay felt fast and fluid with the faster sprint speed. The speed was nerfed due to the smaller size of the maps.
> 3. Headshot bonuses for Assault rifle and SMG made them feel perfect. Too OP, was nerfed.
> 4. You completely changed the design of Pegasus and Orion 2 of my fav and already perfect design maps :(… Make them better when forge comes out, they are forge maps afterall.
> 5. Regret looks bad doesnt have the cool green look it used to have also no more lighting. The increased vegetation makes this map look so much nicer than the beta.
> 6. Eden lost the cool dark look it had now it looks horrible and way to bright. Good! Blue team had an unfair advantage in the dark
> - The removal of death cams and an now you have a long 8 second respawn time for FFA. You want death cam? Really? That was one of the biggest backlashed features in 4 and 5. It belongs in CoD, not Halo.- Magnum had a fast fire rate to finish of kills when switching fron battle rifle. Its slower to componsate the increased accuracy and increased damage. It went from a 5sk to a 4sk
biggest disappointment for me (from beta to full game) was how they changed Breakout: in the beta it was simple and fun, now there’s an OBJ and power ups - why? why would you waste time going for the flag? that’s a giant free kill = as soon as someone touches that flag the entire enemy team knows where the guy is. Breakout did get passive in the higher levels of play, but both teams knew they eventually had to make a move to win the round in the beta.
thats called being smart… having multiple ways to play… and dont being a -Yoink- CoD/Battlefield mindless game
The biggest difference I noticed is your mini map. It’s practically useless now for Team Slayer because the enemy has to be right up on you for you to notice.
