Ok i know that the flood have not been around since halo 3 but i thonk it would be cool if they came back in halo 5 warzone. Just imagine the feeling of beating the covenant and then the sky gets dark and black fog rolls in. Then out of no where a unsc flood victim comes out and starts chasing you. I would like to see this happen.
Too late for flood implementation. Probably not going to happen in Halo 6 either. We will have to wait and see until when the flood returns.
I think that abandoning parts of the Halo experience because they do not fit into the cannon of the current story being told is rather silly. I agree that having flood show up in a multiplayer experience like this is a good idea, and likewise I think keeping brute weapons and vehicles in multiplayer would be nothing but a positive.
It is a “simulation” so I guess they could. It would add some variety.
The real reason this won’t happen is because the flood usually come with an M rating and 343 wants halo to be rated T because they think it helps sales. The problem is that’s not true GTA, CoD, and CS prove that’s wrong.
I think it’s too late in the game’s life for anything major to happen or added. Stay hopeful for halo 6

There have been comments from the 343 team that new development on H5 is done. I agree that it should not be too late to add things.

As much as I love the Flood, I don’t think it’ll ever happen in H5’s Warzone but I suspect H6 will have a Warzone 2.0 that may include them due to the teaser at the end of H5 campaign.

I mean yea true but unless they made a game mode on social when instead of normal infection you are fighting the flood and who ever gets touched dies. But who ever survives the longest wins

You do realise that almost all the flood died on an installation right? and it still wouldn’t fit because halo 5 has nothing to do with the flood.

I think it would make sense to bring the Flood to Warzone so the Spartan-IVs know how to fight them. While I don’t think they would make sense in the story now, being prepared for the worst is always a good idea.

Warzone is a simulation so they could simulate any enemy they want really. Why not simulate flood?
I wanted to see flood and brutes in WZ:FF since it’s inception. Definitely not happening at this point in H5s lifespan. Here’s to hoping for Halo 6 to include all past Halo enemies in firefight simulation mode (:

There is a green visor called “flood”, and it adds a little bit of lore to the flood’s current status and how they’re dealt with.
