So… I have found myself in a strange situation- I have Three Warzone Req Bundles, and don’t know what my recourse should be… Any help from 343i would be GREATLY appreciated. Here’s how it happened:
I’ve been a huge Halo fan for a very long time; been playing since CE. So when H5 was announced, along with the special edition console, I was very excited. As the release date got closer, I elected to purchase both the Legendary Edition bundle, as well as the Console Edition. Honestly, I was more interested in the other extras (with the Legendary Edition) or the console than the Warzone Req Bundle specifically, but was still excited for it’s inclusion.
Well, with the Legendary Edition, being kind of an old school player, I decided to opt-in for the disc redemption; the process went smoothly, and because I ALSO had the console edition, I didn’t have to wait or my disc arrive to play. Score! However, I noticed that when the disc came, it was a standard edition game… And the code I had “traded in” was for the Digital Deluxe version. I thought maybe an email would come with the additional content… but it never did.
I’ll admit, I actually forgot about that bit until just this Valentine’s Day; as a gift, my girlfriend bought me the stand-alone Warzone Req Bundle. This sparked my memory about the missing deluxe edition content, so I contacted Xbox Support, and in no time at all they supplied me with the missing code.
…and this brings me to the issue at hand… I’ll admit, while I know NOW that I can’t use more than One Warzone Req Bundle, I definitely didn’t when I purchased both the Console and Legendary Editions… And as much as my girlfriend takes an interest in what I like, she had no idea when she purchased it for me. Also, as I’m sure you’re aware, there are no refunds on purchased codes. While I know this all seems like 1st World Problems (which… it is…) Is there anything that can be done? When I mentioned this to Xbox Support, they said my only recourse was to 1) Speak with You 2) Try to sell the codes online… and I would REALLY prefer not to attempt the latter.
Would it be possible to get one of the tokens you mentioned in your locked post at the top? Or to trade one for the Arena Req Bundle? Both codes are, of course, unused. Any help you could give on this matter, I would Really appreciate!
