So its been twice this has happened to me. Enemies spawn vehicles i pop a camo to hijack and blow them up but for some odd reason when i plant the grenade they just end up getting an emp effect and their vehicle doesnt blow up. This happened to me from a mantis and scorpion is this a glitch or some oddly force in action?
If you board a scorpion from behind it takes two grenades. In the front it takes one. I believe the Mantis can take two, also.

Just tanks. Mantis’ can only take one unfortunately.
Oni mantis can withstand a Grenade. I have had two plant to Grenades on a Hannibal scorpion.

Not sure about the HM. I have been using the oni mantis quite a bit recently and I would love to see the face on those poor spartans that got splattered after the grenade they planted did nothing. It may have to do with the wheelman mod. The HM should be like the OniM.

Ah maybe the issue is that I tend to use advanced sensors over wheelman so I can (in theory) see the hijackers coming from farther away.

I think it is a combination of the mods. If the planter has grenadier mod on then it might only take one nade even with Wheelman. I have not tested it out, but it would make sense with the logic of the mods.

Does the grenadier mod make nades do more damage though? I thought it just increased the blast radius.
Are you using a splinter nade? That can happen when you use them and it doesn’t blow up the vehicle.

Larger radius because they do more damage overall. I am assuming that they also do more damage to vehicles just like they do to spartans. Again, I have not tested it, I am just going off logic on how the mods should work.

Ok. I assumed it was just that the kill/AoE radius was extended, not the overall damage as well.
