HALO 5 WARZONE DIFFERENCES FROM BETA

I noticed some odd changes in Warzone mode that I hadn’t seen brought up on this forum before. Before I point out them I just want to say, that this discussion is completely constructive and I think its great what 343 is doing which Halo 5 and the beta, which I really couldn’t fault much! Its most fun I’ve had in halo since halo 3! But first of all,

After watching many play-throughs at E3, I noticed a change in the sound, where your shield is shot down to any point before it fully drains. I’m not criticising it, I just thought it was very strange decision as the sound chosen in the beta kept me alert and was very hard hitting and personally, I think is more effective.

I also noticed a the fire sound of the BR, this one is seemingly very different but I felt there to be nothing wrong with the sound of the beta BR, just seems a odd thing to change.

Of course none of this are massive changes and are really quite feeble and are not in anyway gameplay changes, but I just thought it was interesting to point out as I haven’t seen anyone else discuss this. Is there anything that anyone else has noticed different from the Beta? Or do you agree? disagree? or want to expand on what i’m saying?

A lot of people complained that the shield sounds in the beta were too high pitched, so that’s probably why they changed it.

I heard on another thread that the BR sounds different because the speed of the burst was sped up. That would explain why it sounds different, but I’m not too sure if that is true or not.

The biggest things I’ve noticed were the hitmarkers, the responsiveness of the sniper scope (a lot faster to zoom in with now), the medal looks, and the strafe acceleration. The strafing is a lot more responsive and fast which should make for some pretty good BR/DMR battles.

I never heard that actually, but I can’t believe enough people would complain about the sound of it to get them to actually change it, but it just seems like one of those things that would become a bit tedious after a while because its very loud and almost alarm like aha, to me anyways. That is also a interesting theory, just seems like some strange decisions.

Those are some very interesting changes that you noticed. Honestly I didn’t notice half of them, I know about the sniper scope and the DMR zoom is more focused and you can see less of the actual attachment scope. I guess I can see what 343 would do that because it was an old Halo tactic that was very popular in 3 and some of my accuracy in the beta was pretty bad haha.
