Last night (March 24, 2017) I played two rounds of Warzone Firefight with my bro and didn’t receive the REQ packs that are normally awarded after Mythic Boss takedowns. I was told that there was a glitch that sometimes occurs that causes the rewards to not show up for a time, but eventually they will appear (is that something that happens?).
After the first match, I noticed Halo 5 froze for about 5-10 seconds on the after-match Mythic Takedown screen before I was able to continue on to the next match (yes, it froze, I pressed “A” and “B” and nothing happened. Plus the animations that move around the screen stopped moving.) Not sure if that glitch had to do with the REQ rewards not appearing. I hope it’s just a glitch and the REQs show up in the near future because I don’t have very many opportunities to play and those few packs I get are essential for getting certifications.
Thanks for listening 343! You guys have really improved Halo 5 over the lifetime of the game! (Oh, and this year’s Halo Champion Series has been awesome!)
