HALO 5 vs Destiny

What kind of role will arbiter take and or what side he will chose?

I enjoy both but comparing them side by side…halo wins especially comparing multiplayer.

hi,

I will play Destiny for the raids ocasionally but my main focus is shifting to Halo 5 for now.

I too agree with most here. Halo over Destiny, but I do love me a good game of Destiny, and thats what I’ve been playing up to this point to keep me occupied for Halo.

Destiny year two is good and there well be 2 expansion halo 5 we have to just wit and see what 343 has done but the gameplay looks the seam

Halo

I’m currently hopelessly addicted to Destiny, but hopefully Halo 5 can break that, so for now I’m neutral.

No one hated the first Halo they personally played. Half the population of destiny hated it right away the other half just bought the game.

Destiny simply consists of dreadfully repetitive campaign of getting a robot to unlock a gate while you fight off baddies in EVERY mission, has an ok PvP mode, and has a watered down story compared to Halo. Halo, on the other hand has a great story, with a seemingly infinite lore, unique and non-repetitive mission layouts, beautiful weapon and map designs (destiny does have unique environments as well), and especially, the worlds BEST online PvP ever. Also, on top of that, destiny is an always online game, which is annoying, so in the end, I’m much in the favor of halo

I tried playing destiny got to lv 16, couldnt continue because of the mmo mechanics, which require online…

They’re two very different games.

And I’ll love them both.

destiny sucks

DESTINY IS AMAZING AND SO WILL HALO 5!!!

Destiny is like halo, if you took power weapons, made it so Spartans could SPAWN with them (shotguns and sniper rifles, fusion rifles), then give armor abilities that just straight up KILL other Spartans with the press of a button and with minimal effort (supercharge attacks), and then on top of all of that, lower the skill gap considerably.

Destiny’s multiplayer is like kiddie halo. I stopped playing Destiny in the first 4 months of the game because of the multiplayer, but it was for a completely different reason then why most people stop. It was easy…like too easy, and an insane amount of ways to one hit kill people.

I need to refuel my halo tank, destiny will stay on the sidelines. I might alternate occasionally but halo’s my jam.

> I think Halo 5’s going to offer more replay value to me just because we’ll be able to create our own experiences once Forge drops. Content creation really does add a lot to a game’s longevity, and Destiny doesn’t have any content creation to speak of.

Now with theirs timegated things, I hate waiting before to be able to do xxx or yyy. Halo is constant playing

Destiny is a great, solid FPS, however it is lacking on the story for PVE and i personally don’t enjoy the PVP much, not really sure why, That’s Just my personal opinion though, I am really looking froward to Halo 5 Story and Warszones, i am not that interested in 4v4 arena though, its mostly because i am not that good XD.

I think because destiny has been out a while, it already lacks novelty, which will keep halo leagues ahead for quite some time. Halo 5 is also going to get pumped full of extra stuff for free, so I feel that it will stay ahead - haven’t played the full game, so I can’t really remark on quality.
