Halo beats destiny at every corner.
If I’m in a grinding mood Destiny. Its very repetitive but fun. Story alone Halo will always win. The lore is just so good.
I tried to play Destiny twice, once when it released and once when TTK came out. I didn’t like it, so it will be Halo for me 
Don’t have much time for gaming these days, Destiny can be frustrating if you’re not a hardcore player.
I play very slow, stopping to smell the roses, look at all the details of the environment, (artist here) and that takes a good chunk of my time 
Destiny’s gunplay is perfect, sky boxes, art and environment are incredible but a more compelling story is hopefully waiting in H5.
Also hoping playing lone wolf will be more rewarding in H5.

halo is best of best
I’ve put hundreds of hours into Destiny but I pick Halo.
Hey guys not here to bash destiny or lift halo but just look at it this way… They created a protagonist the light an antagonist the dark!!! Oh and released a game with PVP as an after thought with what 4-6 maps that were kinda fun. Not mention that there is NO (still to this date, almost a year later) any form of true competing rank system for PVP. A five year old could create the depth of story they did ( I don’t care how many years they spent ) and they just made up some -Yoink- for PVP. I spent months on Destiny and enjoyed it but done and gone and should be. If any other company, Ubisoft Montreal, 343, even rockstar made that game and released it telling people it will cost nearly 100$ to get the full experience the console gaming world would have been destroyed it. Another Halo is here and it is done very well with all the traits to make it last years!! Enjoy! And buy the new destiny in about two years and enjoy it as well.
I’d rather play Halo since Destiny is extremely grindy and repetitive.
Both are sweet honestly I can play both Halo 5 a bit more is all cause its new.

Destiny disappointed me and lost my interest a long time ago. Not worth paying another $40 to get something maybe worth playing, ya know?

I prefer Halo to Destiny. I wish I could do a Venn diagram but instead I’ll just make a list of my pros and cons.

Loot system - light levels - End game rewards not being useful - and just about everything else in the game
For clarification my definition of a balanced pvp is one where all players have the same abilities, starting weapons, and have to fight for the power weapons. In essence I like everything about Halo’s pvp and detest everything about Destiny’s pvp.
