i don’t even have the game so my input is nothing hear… but halo is my one way ticket here. Destiny seems to much like a grind and level up and hope u get guns that really isn’t that different really but halo tend to take more skills even from the older halo games as well. i don’t want to grind and if i had to grind it would be for my skill level not for better items and money garbing. but it is good to play with friends i guess.
Spartan -058 " move with a purpose spartan"
HALO! So happy to get back into this universe!
Halo five all the way!!!

I realize you’re a mod and you put on a face for the gaming public, but there’s no point in this case. Hundreds, if not thousands of people read that interview and came to the conclusion themselves that he’s a d!ck. The forums went nuts, and they still remember it. He wouldn’t have apologized if what you claim is true. He’s a d!ck and he knows it. That many people are not wrong about the tone and the intent and the arrogance in his comments. Not to mention he’s been called a d!ck by people in the industry. I’ve heard the stories myself from the horses’ mouths.
Destiny is bad, bad, bad. It did a lot of damage to the industry. Bungie is corrupt. It still blows my mind that they released such an empty, soulless, blatant cash-grab to the public. Halo, on the other hand, is just a great game made by a bunch of good people who just want to make a good game.

> Also Bungie made one of the greatest universes not just in gaming but across all medias, why didn’t they branch off keep a group making the standard Halo’s and make Destiny but set in the Halo universe.
Because Halo literally doesn’t belong to them anymore. It belongs to 343i, hence the existence of Halo 5.
Halo !!! Destiny is ok though…sometimes
One word.
Halo

“He wouldn’t have apologized if what you claim is true.” That, my friend, is ignorant. Of course he would apologize even if it were true. No developer is going to sit there after enraging the community and say “well, you guys are just misinterpreting what I meant. Stop whining.” That would just be kicking the hornets’ nest, and no dev in their right mind would omit an apology.
You want to hate Bungie, fine. But if you’re dull enough to come up with that kind of preschooler logic, maybe avoid spewing it in the forums.
Destiny is awful.

> Destiny has good gameplay the idea of raids and everything else was cool just hated how you were pretty much forced to play everyday to get the good stuff, and Halos the best.
Yea I agree the extra stuff was cool like I wish halo 5 was more of a compete package with like Spartan ops and firefight since the only thing I’m missing is the co op experience from destiny otherwise halo blows it away in everything else
I like destiny as a long time game but halo is a fun break from the grind in destiny.
It’s confirmed. Not picking up Destiny ever again.
I just barely got into destiny on the 360 with the Taken king legendary edition. Pretty good deal for $60. In my opinion they have much different strengths. the PVP in destiny isn’t as good, but the RPG aspects of it can be quite fun. I honestly don’t play a game for it’s story, so I’m not bugged by Destiny’s poor storytelling (which has been improved with TTK).
So ya, Destiny is good, but if I want to play PvP I’ll play Halo. I don’t have an XBOne or H5 (pretty mad about lack of split screen for my halo nights) but Halo is great for the PvP. Specifically, in the past, Halo has been great for LAN parties.
Long story short, they are both good depending on what you are looking for, because they are both slightly different types of games.

> I think Halo 5’s going to offer more replay value to me just because we’ll be able to create our own experiences once Forge drops. Content creation really does add a lot to a game’s longevity, and Destiny doesn’t have any content creation to speak of.
I agree, I think, like in reach, if the forge is up to that standard, different playlists can be made like Cops n’ Robbers to add more fun aspects to the game
Both games have perspective good and bad. I put in a lot of time in Destiny and at this point I am completely burnt out. The endless grinding got to me after awhile and not to mention the nickel and diming. This is good because it allows me to get back into Halo again.
Destiny is Fun, but the extension system puts me off. Too expensive
I gotta say after playing through halo I have to say both. If I didn’t have halo for the amazing story and great open map design, with pure perfection for competitive pvp id be upset but halo also is missing and lacking in content. I love having destiny there to just soak up time with friends either on patrols or strikes or a more casual pvp. Now if halo had just a little more content then I’d sell destiny but the fact that it didn’t launch with fire fight or Spartan ops or any coop stuff just sucks

> Me, I would rather play Halo than Destiny because Halo has so much more when it comes to story and overall gameplay. But Destiny’s gameplay is wicked fun but sadly repetitive… what do you think?
They both have their feels but I was born a Halo fan and loved it since 2001.
