I prefer Halo because there’s this really cool thing called Story, it’s Awesome! Destiny should buy some.

I like Destiny it’s a good game but Halo Its Absolutly the best game ever made in my opinion. I can’t wait until I can play this game. So for your question 100% Halo
They are both good games, but Destiny has a lot more elements that I do not like. The both have very smooth and really great feeling gameplay. Destiny though can punish people who only play casually by making the better stuff require a lot of time and better gear. My friend wanted to do the raids but had to get me to carry him through because he hadn’t put 100+ plus hours into the game and was not completely prepared. Destiny’s goal is to try its best to trap an audience by making stuff only accessibly at specific times or through repeating the same event over and over again. Sure you can pick it up and hop in a few Crucible matches if you are a multiplayer kind of person, but it is really unbalanced and not very competitive. You will most likely be outgunned by someone based on if they have a new weapon that they spent weeks trying to get from a quest or raid rather than actual skill. Unfortunately I am one of the people that became trapped in the game and I have 850 hours which is low among my friends.
Now lets talk about Halo. Halo has some of the best gameplay I have ever played. The campaign is always great to the point where I will probably have played through each one at least 5 times during launch week. Halo has both a competitive and a more relaxed/fun set of online multiplayer styles. The multiplayer is balanced very well in the competitive playlists with equal starts and on map weapons. Getting a kill in Halo has a higher value that it does in Destiny for me because it is a skill based fight rather than me having better gear than an opponent. The more fun playlists may allow you to have a better weapon but you still have to earn it to use it. A major trump card Halo has over Destiny though is Custom Games. Destiny has no form of custom game which is a let down because you can only play a few game types and can sometime only have two friends play with you. The customization in Halo custom games also raises the bar above Destiny because not only can you have a private match with friends, but you can make it a lot more interesting through forge and custom game modes. Countless hours of my life have been spent on so many different forged maps and playing silly customs with a full lobby of friends. Because of this I believe Halo will always come out on top quality wise. Destiny tries its best to put little effort into to stuff with a high return while Halo puts a lot more effort towards quality. Bungie now realizes that quality is more important than a low effort high return method which is why The Taken King was a step above the base game, but Halo will most likely stay ahead when it comes down to overall quality.
tl;dr Halo puts more effort in to make a better game experience so it is better than Destiny in my opinion.
Destiny is fun for a short while - at the end of the day it’s a business model made out of psychological addiction, Halo has similar tricks but at the end of the day the gameplay of the multiplayer is far superior and it’s not all about the grind, it’s about playing for the fun of it and to get better, not chasing the next white rabbit piece of gear.
Halo over Destiny just because there is too many comments to the game. Not a lot of people could pick up Halo and be good at it, but Destiny gives you so many chances to be good which I don’t like, I like a challenge. Destiny just isn’t for me.
Is this really a question?
Even on the Halo Forums.
Kind of self explanatory but I choose halo.
I think both games are great Destiny proved themselves to be a great game with their latest dlc and Halo 5 looks very promising
Halo for the reason that it’s a complete game from the release but it’s close I love destiny as well but unfortunately it just recently became a well rounded game, when it released it was a pretty big disappointment we all know that but I can’t help but to blame Activision in a way
Now that I have all my Warlock Subclasses filled, I’m probably not touching Destiny for a while.
I prefer halo over Destiny n reason to that is cause Halo story always been great amazing gameplay. Destiny on the other hand wasn’t much of there story in there game more like online wise to me even though it wasn’t good I didn’t like online to destiny nor story mode. But halo always give there fans good story n good game modes online n it takes skillz to play Halo unless destiny it doesn’t much to be good at it.
destiny is so boring!!

> you posted on a halo forum, as well as the fact that halo beats destiny in almost every way.
Lol this a Halo forum so I think your only gonna get one view mate lol I think Destinys okay but itl never beat Halo #Haloforlife
Gotta give the edge to Halo, all you do in Destiny is grind, Halo has Master Chief.
Destiny was fun at first but omg the grinding and repeating everything hundreds of times is just ridiculous now. The loot drops give nothing to the top player on the team and if your bad at crucible you get good stuff. Halo is just better and honestly, who doesn’t wanna be Master Chief.
My opinion is Destiny is too all over the place the story for me is abit of a mess Halo’s story has always been clear and Halo 5 will kick Destinys behind you just wait
I agree that destiny is rather repetitive, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the story. Its only the first game and has so any things it can improve upon. But in the end I’d click play on halo before I would load up destiny. Just personal preference, there are so memories and I absolutely love the story.
Destiny showed a lot of promise to me but never really delivered. The multiplayer didn’t have enough to keep me interested really. Halo has that plus some sentimental value for me too.
I haven’t played destiny. I simply don’t have the time or money to devote to a game like that. Not only that, but looking at destiny, there’s a ton of content, and as a beginner that scares me. I’m too scared to even start because there’s so much to dig my teeth into. It’s daunting. I prefer Halo because I know exactly what i’m getting. Plus, Halo has a more evolved story and universe.
