Why is everyone saying H5 is just like cod? I have played halo 5 alot during the beta, and I have played the newest cod. The only things I find similar are that you shoot guns and move around in a space.

I agree with you. Too many comparisons are made. Two totally different games no doubt.
On another note how did you play the newest CoD?
People see mechanics that look similar and immediately say “oh, that looks like CoD”. In reality, those mechanics may appear to be similar on the surface but they affect gameplay in very different ways.
It just comes down to stuff like “oh, you can ADS in Halo now”, even though it’s only visually similar to using ADS, and it’s really just a fancy version of zoom that doesn’t actually hurt Halo’s classic gameplay by sacrificing movement speed for accuracy and so forth.
