Halo 5 Vidoc music

I tried as good as I could to delete the voices in the Halo 5 mp Vidoc and keep the quality as high as possible.
This was the outcome.

I must say, I am really liking this piece. It sounds like a mix between Marty’s Halo music and the Halo 4 music. It’s nice! :3

What’cha guys think about it?: Halo 5 Vidoc music

Agreed. It’s unconventional but awesome. Sometimes things like that can really make a scene feel epic. Like in the “Burning the Fields” mission in Far Cry 3, with Jason getting high off the smoke and that awesome reggae-dubstep playing in the background.

That’s awesome, I hope this music will be int the final OST’s.
While I’m listening this music I can imgaine that Chief fight against the Forerunners and they almost overcome him but then Arbiter come with his army/fleet and then Chief look up to the sky (thats happen when when the song reaches 2:20)and recognize the Arbiter and say something cool to each other.

Looks like several tracks.
Pretty sure these things aren’t called vidocs anymore.

Thank you!
I was hoping someone would do this. So far I like what I hear. I like the way it builds up. I am particularly fond of the last 20 seconds. The whole song is great though. I can’t wait to hear the proper version and the rest of Halo 5’s soundtrack.

What else would a video documentary be called?

I like it, hoping the Halo 5 OST is more unique and constrained than Halo 4’s, which to me was all over the place and general.

On the subject of Halo 5 music, does the music in this vidoc sound like a more vocal orchestra heavy remake of ‘117’ or is it just me? Also, i hope the Halo 2 pieces are mixed in with it for Halo 5 as well, but thats wishful thinking at best :frowning:

This ViDoc is making me more and more excited that Kazuma Jinnouchi is the lead composer for Halo 5.

Kazuma is love, Kazuma is life.

Actually ViDoc doesn’t stand for Video Documentary, it stands for visual, informational, and documentation.

I really loved the ending piece. It sounded great and had an awesome drum kit.

Please, don’t ruin it.

That is for sure 117. I’ve listened to that song enough times to know it anywhere.

Oh yes, thats 117 for sure. No argument there. What i was wondering however, is if anyone else caught on to the fact that it sounds more vocal heavy than the Halo 4 version. Because i don’t remember that much chanting in the original.

They probably just messed with how loud different tracks were to give it a different feel. They’ve done that a lot, along with outright muting certain aspects of songs.

Anyways, the song during the last 30ish seconds of the vidoc sounds super awesome.
