Halo 5 Vehicles, There better be more!!!

Halo 5 looks scarce of vehicles currently, again no unsc air vehicle sightings and only one Prometheon vehicle. If that’s only what there reveling at this time then i hope there’s a lot more like maybe the return of the falcon and or hornat.

No Falcon or Hornet (or any UNSC air vehicles for that matter) at launch I’m afraid. Two things to keep in mind however are that they stated they might consider adding more vehicles post launch and that each vehicle has many variants which include cosmetic and game play altering differences. So far it these variants are in Warzone and Campaign but they also maybe in BTB.

If there is a UNSC flying vehicle added, I hope it’s not the Falcon or Hornet. Id like something new.

Same here.

Well we have the following

  • Warthog - Mongoose - Gungoose - Scorpion - Mantis - Ghost - Wraith - Banshee - Phaeton - ShadeAll the Halo games saw a similar number of vehicles for multiplayer.
    CE had five vehicles
    2 had six
    3 had ten
    Reach had nine
    4 had ten
    H2A had nine
Guardians doesn’t seem short on vehicles at all.

I like how Reach had so much vehicles and open maps and invasion and BTB and a huge map like spire and… how did they make this game so fun?
I could go into all the vehicles and stuff but they made it so amazing and fun. The Spire was my favorite and like no other. I hope they add some more or just 2 like a UNSC air vehicle or something else.
For example Battlefield 4 has these big maps and I believe 1 map you can go up in an elevator to a skyscraper roof and fly helicopters up there…and I use and a lot.
But we definantley need a UNSC air vehicle or something. Or sometime in the future have maps like the one I just described like Battlefield

Yeah sorry OP, I don’t think Halo 5 is scarce on vehicles at all. It’s fine to want to have an UNSC air vehicle but making up Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt just to push your own request is not cool.

Oh no! That’s right this is Waypoint!!! Man, I screwed up…

Hey guys look, more facts!

On top of the vehicles being at a similar number as previous games, we’ve only actually seen three games that feature a flyable UNSC aircraft for multiplayer.
Halo 3 and H2A saw the Hornet
Reach saw the Falcon.
Compared to the total number of FPS Halo games, that’s not a lot of games. We’ve had eight FPS Halo games, five of them without a UNSC aircraft in matchmaking and only three with one.

Plus Halo 4 saw the Pelican gunship and Broadsword in two misisons, so while there may not be one in multiplayer, campaign featured two of them.

Now, I’m not saying it’s a good thing we don’t have a UNSC aircraft but, at the same time it’s more of nostalgia from 3 & Reach that makes us wish we had one. H2A sort of helps with it, even if the Hornets aren’t very fun on Bloodline.

I hardly believe why is Halo scarce of vehicles, it could have more than 15. There are some cool vehicles that most of the people would glad to see them:
Hornet
Falcon
Spirit
Locust
Revenant
Choper
And more!

Wrong, 343 said that there would be no UNSC air vehicle in Warzone at launch.

This suggests well be able to fly them in other gamemodes like campaign, customs and so on.

Plus this is an old tweet in one of the images for a warzone map we see a Pelican gunship, GIANT TURRETS and a plane looking vehicles.

1 Pelican gunship, 1 Scorpion, 2 Hogs, 2 giant turrets and 1 plane looking vehicle in the top leftish area of the base.

Halo Custom Edition has UNSC aircraft on its multiplayer
Halo 3 has them
Halo ODST has them
Halo Reach has them
Halo 2 Anniversary has them
MCC has them
Halo wars definitely has them

and those are just for multiplayer

Halo 2 has a glitch which lets you fly a pelican
Halo 4 has them in campaign
If you consider the Kestral as a UNSC air vehicle then Spartan strike counts for this as well

9-10/12 Halos which have flyable UNSC vehicles in some form

So thats actually pretty much every halo which has had a UNSC flying vehicle in some form or another

Except we dont just get 10

Frankie said that there will be ALOT more weapons and vehicles than what we’ve seen so far and you also didnt take the weapon variants into Acount the unique weapon variants [Baseline, Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Exotic, Legendary] with each vehicle having one in each catagory at the very least.

That brings up the number of vehicles up to 66 Minimum due to us also having the Plasma hog

  • I’m not talking about the PC editions and those are modded in
  • MCC is a collection of games so it does not count. However I am counting H2A since it is it’s own multiplayer
  • You are just reinstating what I wrote from what games do have them
  • ODST does not have a hornet or falcon and the pelican is not flyable
  • Halo Wars? Spartan Strike? Guess what? I SAID FPS GAMES
  • MULTIPLAYER ONLY DO YOU EVEN READ POSTS?
  • Glitches don’t countThe fact still stands, of the eight FPS Halo games, only three of them have an aircraft in MULTIPLAYER

Whoops clicked enter by mistake

  1. Doesnt matter its still a Halo game. You dont need to mod it to fly a Pelican
  2. Its still one of the halo games
  3. Yes
  4. ODST does have the Hornet [both veriaties] in its forge, customs and multiplayer.
  5. Doesnt matter, you said only 4/8 Halo games had flyable UNSC vehicles, so even if you werent including those 2 they still have them which bumps your 4 up to a 6
  6. I said the ones just for multiplayer and then added the ones with them in campaign, because you know thats more important and still factos into how many halo games let us play with UNSC air vehicles
  7. Yes yes they do count if it lets you fly them

I am not denying that there might be flyable vehicles in campaign. Halo 4 had the Pelican and Broadsword so I would be surprised if we didn’t get to fly one in campaign. But I was referring to the multiplayer sandbox. I am going to take 343i word that there will be no UNSC aircraft at launch because generally they don’t rule things out like that, especially if they know it could upset people, if they aren’t sure. Normally they would play it safe and dodge the question.

Warzone was first described as encompassing the entire Halo sandbox so if it is a usable multiplayer vehicle then it should be in their.

As for the two aircraft in the image, firstly the Pelicans are how you usually will enter a Wazone match and secondly this was taken very early in development as a test map (Explained here). Also the image to the left is quite unclear.

As I said before, hopefully they add a UNSC aircraft later on.

ODST didn’t even have forge, customs, or multiplayer. It had campaign and Firefight which was co-op
Halo 3 Mythic 2 DLC which came with ODST was Halo 3 not ODST

It certainly seems that way since barely seen any new vehicles, well plenty of missing vehicles too.

To be fair to the OP, this is a next-gen game. 343 is boasting large scale battles with this warzone gametype, and one would expect a more varied set of vehicles than previous games.

Halo reach had the sabre, pelican, and phantom in the campaign along with a lot of civilian vehicles, and how could you forget the legendary forklift?

A UNSC flying vehicle would be cool to see in the MP, sure some nostalgia may have inspired this, but the previous UNSC flying vehicles were really fun to use. I loved the falcon because it was deadly if the teamwork was there.

That being said, I’m sure halo 5 will have the most vehicles to date, 343 has mentioned there being vehicle variation/customization via req packs for warzone(please be a flamethrower warthog). I just hope we can use these vehicles in forge/customs, same for the multiple warzone weapons.
