Did anyone else see the update notification on xbox app this morning?
The update is coming out tomorrow. I don’t think it will be very big.
i was wondering the size as well. i need to make sure i have it set to auto update so i dont have to wait tomorrow when i want to play
The notification stated that this was the update prior to the release for the One X, so everyone will have it downloaded for transfer to the new console without having to download the day of. Doesn’t the update include all the new updates as far weapons adjustments, multiplayer MMR adjustments, etc…
I believe said it is as part of the update as the weapons and everything are the November update, with x enhancments a part of it if you enable 4k downloads

I really hope that doesn’t lead to the HW2 bug where it makes me redownload the entire game. 
Either way got to download it before Scorpio releases.

That’s what’s odd. I started the xbox app on my laptop this morning and there it was for Halo 5 Guardians from xbox, Update Nov 2nd for One X so they could play the Nov 7 release date without having an update before they could play. I guess it’s obviously going to be big for 4k machines. I looked everywhere also and couldn’t find anything. I should have done a screenshot of it.

Rather confused, I’ve been on Xbox app all day, haven’t seen any messages. I assumed you meant the thread someone else linked in another thread but didn’t see anything about H5 being updated to 90gig but yes I figured they would do pre-updates since Microsoft have already been doing this with other games like Gears 4. Not sure about file sizes being big but I would assume a portable hard drive would easily solve that problem.
I missed the Mixer announcement. Is this update that is coming tomorrow contain the new weapon tunings? Or is it just the 4K support?

It was @ 4:00 am pst. The post got buried really quick buy people posting vids and all. And no it was from Xbox Halo Guardians green background unless someone hacked it…lol. What I was confused about was it only for One X pre-orders for the 4k part of the update or what.

In terms of just Halo 5 this is everything that is included for tomorrows patch: Patch Preview Coming 11/2. Part of this is in preparation for the 4K update and the rest is all Halo 5 stuff including weapon update.
I’m not sure about the size but the new commendations will be nice!
I wanted to know the size of the update as well, as I have pretty limited data and depending on the size of it, I’ll have to go to a friend’s house or something to get it. So I would like to know so I could make plans needs be… But it’s looking like I’ll just have to wait till tomorrow and scrambled to make last-minute plans if needs be…ugh!
Wish I could be apart of it when it drops but going to wait to see the XBX then decide about getting a another console.

I’m not a big fan of the nerf the AR and SMG are about to receive. I prefer CQC style gameplay and this effects me a bit.
