Hey guys, so I came home a couple of days ago and was prompted for the update. It was going well for a while and the last I saw it it was about 50% and then I left the house for a little while. When I came back my Xbox had turned off. So I turned it back on and went on to halo, then the prompt came up saying “there was a problem with the update” I have tried completely powering down both Xbox and modem, and there has been no result. My internet connection is good, open Nat, no problems there. So I’m wondering how to fix this, any ideas? Anyone who’s had this happen and escaped the depressing nature of not being able to play?
yea this happend to me too this morning -Yoinking!- shitbox.i unstalled and still wouldnt do nothing and instll game might have had problem with the update file but im installing my game back now this is wierd issue.
Anybody got an answer for this? Turned it on to play, it said it needed an update, it try’s for maybe one second then says there is a problem with the update. My internet connection is good.
hey man, I don’t know how i fixed it but I can tell you what i did and found out it worked. So i turned my xbox off completely, unplugged all my cords and went to my modem, i then went and plugged my xbox into my modem and and into another tv, when i turned my xbox back on it was all sweet.
