Halo 5 Too Simple?

I felt that with the release of Halo 4, 343 brought in many new features and tried many new things. Some were great and some weren’t. The community begged for a game closer to the core of Halo and 343 obliged but at a cost. Now every time I hop on Halo 5 I can’t help but think of a game with core basics and nothing else. What happened to Ricochet? What happened to KOTH? What happened to Action Sack, CTF playlist?, Team Objective, Regicide, The gravity zones in Forge ohh and Dominion, I remember that being one hell of a blast (even though WZ is similar) Even the 4v4 maps feel smaller and more repetitive.Yeah Halo 4 wasn’t that great of a game but hey at least it had some variety, not everything was bad in the game so why didn’t 343 implement some of things from H4 back into H5 like what i’ve listed above?

Does anyone feel the same?

I feel like adding loadouts and kill streaks to H4 was the only significant change and a bad one at that. H5 is a lot closer to the core Halo experience we know and love but personally I don’t feel obliged at all. The addition of Warzone will never make up for the missing core elements of past Halo’s. It’s lacking in almost every aspect of the game. Spartan abilities are a good addition and the campaign is gorgeous but that’s the only positive change that I see. Every other change was a step back, and every update since launch is more like damage control. They put so much effort and emphasis into Warzone that the remainder of multiplayer payed dearly.

Yeah but still its the little things that make a game great, the variety in H4 was good and they should of carried it over.

Dominion was great why did Halo 4 remove it as a playlist. Even so Halo 5 should add that gamemode in. that would give us the option with new forge items including the auto turrets dominion had. it was annoying in halo 4 as i almost completed all of the commendations for it just before they had removed it. 343i should really add this.
