I noticed in a lot of the vidocs leading up to Halo 5’s release that a track that sounded like a remaster of To Galaxy from Halo 4 was often used. But, it’s nowhere to be found now, neither in the official soundtrack or in the game’s audio files, which is both strange and disappointing because it sounds amazing. I would just like to ask why it wasn’t made available with the rest of the soundtrack and whether or not it will ever be made available to us in the future, like in a Volume 2 soundtrack. A response from anyone over at 343 would be great.

This is the story of my life. I guess I have different music taste than everyone else, but every single time (EVERY SINGLE TIME) I look up music from either a movie or game, the exact song I was searching for is the only one not listed or featured in any conceivable version of the soundtrack. It is simply nowhere to be found. I feel you man! I hope you find it.
Ah, you’re on about the version of To Galaxy that normally plays at the end of each The Sprint episode. I’ve been curious about this myself, because while i wasn’t a massive fan on the Halo 4 OST, To Galaxy was one of the few tracks i really liked.
Oh…“Coming Soon!”. There ya go. You’re welcome.
I don’t know. Actually never heard of this. Still, my answer probably is the accurate response you’ll never get from 343. Update us if you find anything out though!
“To Galaxy” is absolutely fantastic. I wish they did a new version of it for the H5 OST.
