Halo 5 Thruster Returning?

This may be an unpopular opinion here but I was a fan of the updated movement mechanics in Halo 5, especially the thruster.

While loading into the infinite beta, one of the loading screens mentioned using the thruster to evade. IMGUR Link

I took that screenshot from Xbox DVR and you can find that video Here, the relevant screen is about 5 seconds from the end.

Do you think this is something that will be added in or is this just leftover text from a previous build that did feature the thruster?

Thrusters will be an equipment pickup with limited on use charges. Much better than being a baseline ability like H5 had it.

It’s being brought back as an equipment, preferably it wouldn’t be there at all. But ig y’all can make custom games with unlimited thrusts or sum if you want the inferior H5 experience

You’re correct, its a very unpopular opinion. I’m glad they’re gone and I wish they’d stay gone. But of course there’s nothing wrong with having liked them.

I miss it a lot actually, just seems like such a downgrade

Nice, doesn’t seem as powerful as H5, just enough to get U out of troubles in a 1vs1 or even a 2vs1

Thank you for sharing. Glad it is making a comeback even if I am a bit disappointed in the downgrade. The thruster was something I wanted to have since Halo 3, and I was very happy to see it implemented in Halo 5.

I’m agree, only three use isn’t enough, they should make 5 like the grapple

I don’t get it why people being bonkers for getting the thruster ability

I liked it in 4. Felt really off in 5, too fast and recharged too quick.

I miss the thrusters from halo 5 too. They were great for evasiveness
