Any way I can possibly get it back?

You can bookmark the game from your game history on Waypoint and then watch it in theater.

Yes, I know that, but the game I had bookmarked was from long ago.
As LUKEPOWA said, just search the game on game history and bookmark it (it may take you a while since the game is from long ago). The game film will appear in Halo 5 theater, in Bookmarked section.

Problem is that after a while the bookmark is unavailable
Not sure what the time frame actually is
Oh, you’re right, sorry! Did you record some clips of that game to watch on content browser or DVR? If not, i’m afraid there’s no way to get it back
