Halo 5 , The most broken halo game in existence.

So. Not only do I have to start it up and restart it every time I play it, or you know that after every match req points don’t load or the lobby breaks. 343 can’t even do forge right! 6 -Yoinking!- hours of forging I made the coolest infection map…it didn’t save I saved it 4 times none of it saved. Go ahead call me a cry baby or tell me to stop -Yoinking!- I honestly don’t care mine and everyone of my friends who play halo, experiences are the same. This is the most broken halo ever conceived, ya dedicated servers… DEDICATED TO FAIL.

TLDR: me -Yoinking!- about the complete failure of a game this is and 343 needs to work on their shut servers more, oh ya and why the -Yoink- is forge online only? Mabye my stuff would have saved if it wasn’t due to their servers.
Edit: Just to clarify because I noticed I didn’t in the original post, I’m not talking about the story/art/gameplay or anything like that I guess you could call what I’m harping about is server issues I guess? Anyway wanted to update before I got replys about the story ect.
Edit 2: Stop mentioning the MCC, yes it’s broken to all hell but it is a COLLECTION, a stitched together collection of master cheifs story. Not an entirely new add on to the continuing halo story. I am talking about a singular game not a flipping collection.

Sounds more like a you problem than a game problem.

technology isn’t perfect either, and things in this day and age likewise have times where they are not instant.

I have not experienced the forge maps crashing ever before, but I do agree with 343 needing to fix the REQs, with stats not being able to be retrieved after a game or REQ packs not showing. It’s a small thing that shows frequently and needs to be fixed.

Sounds like someone doesn’t Halo 2 existed at one point. And Halo 3. And Halo: Reach. And Halo 4. And MCC.

I don’t understand you here. Yes I didn’t experience halo 2 but I did experience late halo 3 , reach, and halo 4, none were as broken as h5. I also don’t consider the mcc exactly because it’s not a new game in the franchise it’s just a collection of chief story arc. But I’ll agree on that mcc was pretty -Yoinked!- up.

Wouldn’t exactly call it a problem on my end. Considering the only other game iv ever had trouble with like this was destiny back in the first year it was out, that game was known for how bad the crucible was.

Dude, technology doesn’t always work right. My Xbox One needs a hard restart at least once week. Halo 5’s servers are gonna glitch every once in a while. 343 industries just released like 8 DLCs over 9 months. They just now got the breathing room to actually troubleshoot and update several mechanics. So calm down and post an actual formal grievance so 343 can have something to work with.

H5 is nowhere near as broken as MCC.

Clearly some one didn’t get MCC on release day and experience the after math… MCC still has bugs.

Your issues maybe hardware issues or connection issues. H5 has a bug or two at times but it’s far far from the most broken… nothing will top MCC for that.

… there once was a time… a time where halo was even more broken… it was called the mcc.

Your post is referring to your problem as technological, not gameplay design impactive.

Or rather your broken should be referring to disconnects, delayed loads, and general hitches.

There is a very big difference between broken system, broken game, and broken game mechanics.

your comparison to destiny pvp is misused here.

If you had connection problems then yes, like destiny it may have again, been a YOU issue.

Broken game mechanics are an entirely other set of situations, such as dark souls 3 poise stat, it does freaking nothing and the creator got on it to fix it.
A weapon in a game can be broken such as thorn last year in destiny when the pvp meta went so shallow.
Enemy AI can be broken to where it’s difficulty is based on fudged numbers via aiming, power, and endurance, aka halo 2 jackals on legendary are notorious for the vastly cheapened AI functionality compared to all other games where on legendary, they are strong and reactive, but still miss.

still your claim appears as a you problem yourself, via your own connection or system. Halo 5 works the same for EVERYONE. If it’s just you on this problem, maybe it’s a bad disc or bad system.

Apparently, you never played the MCC. That was a broken game. Halo 5? Not so much.

MCC says you are wrong. If I could get 2 games played in an hour it was a miracle. Half of Halo 5’s problems are probably xbox live problems. I had problems on more than Halo today.

coughcough* master chief collection coughcough

Like someone else already said, 343 had 8 month of non-stop work with dlc that they can’t work with the problems you’ve listed. Now that they’re done with the monthly dlc thay can focus on the servers and go in-depth with stuff like UI.

It’s not just me on this problem it’s all my friends and random people I meet while playing. Again I have no issues with any other game like I do with halo 5. Especially no other singular halo game sense I picked up h3 for the first time.

Im just gonna say Sonic 06.

Halo 5 is not near broken AT ALL.

Yeah but that game is broken in a funny way

If it shows up something like 0 RP or REQ Services Unavailable, join a quick Custom Game and back out. It should be fixed.
