Halo 5 (The little things that make Halo)

I’d like to discuses a couple of things that are not thought of much but can drastically change how some peoples halo experience is affected.Everything I’m about to mention is something that needs to be changed or fixed in Halo 5 to make it a better game.

  1. Mute ban’s. Mute ban’s simply make no sense and can drastically effect peoples halo experience.Even people who don’t talk much but play more MLG playlist have ban’s even in Halo 4 simply because they worry that others will here their strategy’s or plans will be over herd. Some people get banned because some one will think it’s funny to mute people along with friends to help get them banned.I understand why the mute system is used but if there’s a rowdy or obnoxious person then they can simply be manually muted. Overall the mute bann is more harmful then helpful and it needs to be done away with.

2.Proximity voice. This is one of the things that made Halo so fun for me but was done away with in Halo 4.I always loved to here other people when I surprised them or beat them in battle.it’s one of the reasons I laughed so much while playing Halo 3 or Reach.I know why it was removed but if you don’t want them to here you then mute them(that’s if there is no mute ban)or you make certain playlist set to have proximity turned off. It shouldn’t be that hard

3.Playlist Settings. Lets use Halo 4’s Multi Team for example. In recent updates MT was finally fixed from a 6 teams of 2 too a 4 teams of 3(which is what it should have been in the first place).A playlist should never be so cluttered with teams that it’s just plane hectic not to mention some teams looked like the same color. The only playlist that should have so many individual players is FFA and that’s it.

4.Gametype settings. (most of what I’ll be saying here relates to Halo 4’s MultiTeam). Playlist like crazy king does not need to have such a low winning score like 75 that the game last less than 2 minutes, It should always be 150 to allow for enough time to create a decent and competitive game. Also gametypes like swat do not belong in multi team because it creates a hectic setting.Just look at Multi Team in Halo 3 and Reach. Multi team is still a dominate playlist in those games but in Halo 4 its the least played and that’s because of the gametypes and the setting.

5.Objective Settings and Missing Gametypes. You should never be forced in automatic objective pick up like odd ball or flag. This can cause a player to avoid the objective especially flag.I have even avoid the flag because of certain power weapons I was holding like rockets. Also a Objective gametype that needs to return is “Assault”. Assault was probably one of the most enjoyable gametypes but failed to make an appearance in halo 4. It would have been great in BTB.

There are still a lot of problems with halo 4 thus the population decrees but those are more obvious. I mention the less obvious things in this post in hopes to see them fixed and put in Halo 5 to make a more exciting and fun halo experience.

Why was it removed?

it was removed because of the mute ban. people that played MLG playlist would mute people in Reach so they could not here each others team during the game and this would cause people to get mute banned

They should of found a way to put it into the gametype/lobby settings so MLG guys can have their no proxy games, and those who like proxy voice chat can have their matches with proxy chat.

there shouldnt be any proxy/chat ban. all it does is causes problems and if you simply dont want to here someone then mute them yourself

I agree. If people want to have someone muted they will do so themselves. I guess 343 thinks their costumers can’t do anything themselves “Looking at wheel chair picture”. They should also add back proximity voice for social and keep it out of ranked.
