Halo 5 the darkest halo game.

So as 343 said halo 4 will have be a finger on a ledge game(as in trying to save cortana and stop the prometheans) but they said halo 5 is supposed to be Very dark. There must be a an event in there like halo reach that makes the game dark. because if you remember after George died the game grew very dark and with alot of ambiance.

Odst was also a dark halo game since you are searching a city once thriving with life and now is nothing but an empty city with only ghosts and glass.

if halo 5 is supposed to be very dark do you suppose the ancient enemy/the Prometheans go to earth and eradicate it. that would make for a very dark game. because how many games do you play where earth has no hope and is destroyed while hope lies with you to avenge it by killing her destroyers

what do you guys think?

One thing to say: the Flood returns

I don’t know what you mean by dark. I think you mean, as in, a dark environment with evil and emotion in the air, or something along those lines.

Well anyway, I hope it’s bright like in Halo 3. Those action missions were lovely, colourful and bright. That’s how every Halo game should be.

Then there should be a few dark missions with Flood, or whatever, in them. But Flood were the best for creating a dark and evil environment with tension arising every with step you took. But unfortunately, they’re not coming back.

We’ll have to wait and see.

not so much as a dark environment but more of a dark mood. like evil emotions, ambiance, sad choreography,a lost hope feeling.

You don’t know that the flood isn’t returning.
Frankie said they wouldn’t be in halo 4

The flood returns and maybe the Infinity captain dies? Who knows…we don’t even know almost anything about the Halo 4 campaign yet.

> One thing to say: the Flood returns…

A thousand times worse than before.

Lasky is going to die buff said

Shouldn’t we be discussing halo 4 lol. This can wait right. We haven’t even gotten the first game of the trilogy yet lol.

I say after a year of fighting this new enemy, Earth is destroyed. Imagine that, fight 27 years to keep it safe then boom, just obliterated in under a year. Then the UNSC is disbanded, humans get searched throughout the galaxy and eradicated, and John must begin an uprising against these new enemies.

I was talking about Halo 4. I don’t think the Flood’ll return till the end of Halo 5/Halo 6.

That’s what I’m thinking. Maybe Earth gets taken and Chief must travel across the galaxy on his highly advanced ship so he can unite the races of the galaxy to take Earth back.

Wait what?

I say it will deal somewhat with the other Spartans from onyx, but that’s my opinion.

this better be sarcasm, or so help me god, i’ll use space magic on your -Yoink-

I welcome such a scenario. Cleansing scum is what I do best.

Reach? Dark? Preposterous. ODST was way more darker. It depicts a new level of brutality in Halo (a Chieftain used the blade on his hammer to do some major damage to an ODST). Sadie’s story is much more immersive than data pads. And ODST has the first human enemy seen in Halo.

The only time I though Reach was being dark was when Kat got shot + glassing of New Alexandria.

Exodus wasn’t very compelling. Return to Sword Base wasn’t very interesting. Carter and Emile were poor actors on PoA.

> Odst was also a dark halo game since you are searching a city once thriving with life and now is nothing but an empty city with only ghosts and glass.

The empty city wasn’t very convincing IMO. But yeah it was dark.

Master Chief loses his girlfriend and becomes depressed almost killing himself

I really think what might happen is that the ancient enemy has found earth and it is being decimated and eradicated until there is nothing that john can do and earth must be left behind. and the unsc was greatly decimated and with the few forces left the chief has to take down this ancient enemy at its home. Just imagine the didact and his forrces attacking earth or worse precursors and promeatheans biggest nighmare.

One word: Rebels.

Rebels are an unexplored part of the Halo universe. And could pose a threat closer to home.(Human colonies) A threat being their knowledge of the land, maybe they get their hands on a spartan and take some blood samples.(Imagine fighting rebel Spartans. Sniper Spops mission in the city anyone?)And besides, fighting humans after all of that should really cut deep for the Marines.

Where did you hear that Halo 5 would be the darkest in the trilogy?
