Might have to agree with you. I’m playing ODST to pass the time until 5 comes out.
Well I for one really love Halo 5 as well. To say that it’s better than 1, 2 and 3? I don’t know. Just as fun, at the very least? Without a doubt. I would be lying if I said that I didn’t find Halo 3 slow after playing Halo 5. That doesn’t mean that I don’t adore Halo 3, mind you, but I can see myself playing a lot of Halo 5 when it’s released.
In the end, we’re all entitled to our opinions and should be respected for them.
0/10 nice try op. blatent flame bait. halo 5 is not pure halo. its call of halo guardians. pure halo has no sprint, thrusters, ground pound, no scope for every weapon. you have ex from og xbox and halo on 360… one cannot have this mediocre mindset. OP my any chance do you play cod and enjoy it?

you know halo 5 is not well accepted and the OP knows that this kind of post will get bites. do you think his uneducated opinion is real?
Some people don’t understand the real complaints about Halo 5. It has nothing to do with personal preference. It has to do with fundamentals.
The combination of all these new mechanisms in Halo 5 violate the arena principles that Halo was always built on. Once I realized what was happening a few days into the beta, I began to realize I was a sucker for playing it. I continued to play it every day, hoping to prove myself wrong. But I became more and more discouraged as the days passed.
In a sense we have a homogenized Halo that is designed to play like the console alternatives. It is really just another shooter on consoles. No longer will Halo force PC gamers, non-XBox gamers and non-FPS gamers to take notice and pay attention. It has effectively become a stronger brand of Killzone. Meaning that it will sell millions and millions of copies, but it will be irrelevant in general gaming circles. Casuals as well will move on after a month to the next mega-hyped FPS released. Star Wars Battlefront anyone? See my point. By making the totality of the experience in Halo so similar to the alternatives, it will drive casuals away.
I really enjoyed the beta and Id probably have halo 5 pre ordered allready if I was into pre ordering but I can’t agree. The perfect 343 halo could not > perfect bungie halo, for the same reason ppl can’t hate on H5s mechanics because they dont work in 1-3. They are different beasts

the 343 drones will not admit that halo 5 or halo 4 is a mistake instead of minorly evolving like halo 1-3 (like 343 should have done)
It’s to early to say that. Custom games need to be on point, campaign, playlists, maps, longevity all need to be on point. Beta was really fun just need to fix the locked rank. Not fun if you’re placed out of your skill range and can’t derank.

I see what you tried to do but it failed because 4 was a “minorly evolved” and better halo reach. Loll I love when ppl bash 343 always seem to mention every halo game except reach the game that started the nonsense.

Oh wait, I forgot about Star Wars Battlefront coming out after Halo 5…
Welp.
That’s GG, Halo 5. Unless Battlefront flops completely, there goes your population. Like, literally all of it

reach was a bad dream. i only refrence the original 3. one bad game out of 3 does not break my opinion of bungie. 343 have made 2 bad games in a row… cannot trust em with the license.

Lolll what ever you say bud. Maybe if the one bad game wasn’t the last one they did Id agree but I can’t because if that’s where they planned to take halo thank god they left and should have left after 3. If they would have H4 would have been different and halo 5 will never be a good bungie halo because thts not what they are aiming for

Definitely agree with the Killzone analogy. Just a shooter among all the shooters, nothing special about it.

i dont get why they think they have drift from a proven formula. it only makes fans leave because it does not play anything like 90% of the other games
