Since the start of June at E3 343 decided to show off the next installment of Halo, Halo 5 Guardians. It looked promising i really was looking forward to the game. #Hunt the truth Ad came along and like my self and fan i thought we would of decided who decides to live from watching the trailer. Nope. From completing the game today in 5 Hours on Normal I felt very misguided because first of 343 the mission you displayed at E3 and Ads such #Hunt the truth are complete trash. The mission from E3 is not in the game and the Ads arent even about the game Nor Locke or Spartan 117 was laying in Rubble . How could you do this 343, I actually thought after Bugie left you could actually Develop a Halo game. Halo 4 was good but then Halo 5 comes along and its rubbish and its a shame i really was looking forward to it. All you did was over hype Halo 5 and set it up for Halo 6 completely wasted my time. Many of the missions such as talking to some characters and Easy dropping on people for intel are a joke. How can you class them as missions like some others which you did actually to well on. Some of the CGI was great but in some felt the player should of taken over it felt like watching a film in some places. overall Its average, Campaign is short 5 hours to complete and has a poor ending because it just leads on to Halo 6 would could be called Halo Genesis from speculation.
I would really recommend playing through it on legendary. The gameplay is more… Normalized there… Where as on normal you can literally win without using a weapon. Just melee everything. I played through Halo 4 with four buddies on its release night. We beat it in like three hours. Worst experience. I played through on solo legendary after and absolutely loved it.
I agree that this campaign was basically a build up to Halo 6. I am excited though. I feel like they wrapped up things they didn’t want to deal with so they could focus on the primary plot on Halo 6. If Halo 6 follows the same route I’ll be upset. As for now I’m content with the 6-7 days I’ve put into this game.

Story is very short. just wait for halo 6 and see if it gets better. im disappointed with this game also. my advise is trying to have fun as much as possible. if you are not having switch to another game like i do when i get pissed off with this game
watching my son play the used copy he just bought…
the campaign looks stupid.
Didn’t they have to separate those short missions in oder to accommodate all of that NPC dialogue? You can talk to some of those guys for a long time, including them in the mission previous probably would have proved too much.
Beat it on Legendary Solo, as has been suggested. Your opinion of the campaign will change.
It takes a couple hours longer if you play it on heroic, which is the most realistic way to play. It also helps if you don’t rush through everything (especially the non-combat missions). At first, I rushed through it and was kinda confused. My second play through on legendary, which is makes it hard to do fast, I took my time and understood it a lot better. The Intel is pretty cool actually if you collect them all and listen to them later. Especially one them on the first non-combat level on sanghelios about a certain elite who has a little love interest with Palmer.
