Halo 5 Spartan rank should have rank emblems like halo reach had. I liked when you ranked up and got a new rank emblem and not just a number. I hope they change it to emblems that starts from recruit to inheritor like in halo reach!
Halo Reach’s ranking system was crap in my opinion, I’d rather have Halo 3’s, with its emblems as well.

Halo 3 ranking was the best ranking system in my opinion too. But i would rather have a rank emblem like general grade 3 instead of for example SR 80. Its just boring haha
I personally prefer the simplicity of the SR system. I can look at my SR60 rank and instantly know that I’ve climbed 59 ranks since I started and have 92 more to go. Military rankings, while asthetically pleasing, did nothing else as far as utility. A person would have to look up a chart just to see how many grades they had to go through just to move up from lieutenant and so forth.
I just want to be able to make my emblem that I had for 7 years.

I agree. I don’t understand why keeping numbers like Halo 4 when we had nice ranks in H3 and Reach. Even Halo 2 had some colors and pictures for the 1-50 ranks.

Its just boring! I really hope they change it! Cause in H3 and reach you where really happy when you had leveled up from brigadier to general! Now its just a number and i dont really care if i rank up from SR59 to SR60.
I would prefer the emblem and number. That way I can easily tell what other people’s rank is and mine
