Yes. Split-screen back in 2001, and split-screen in Halo 5. All the other games have it why shouldn’t this game have it. Splitscren was the best in the old days with cardboard to stop screen peaking.

Yes to local Split screen. Always and forever. I’m old fashioned and like to invite buddies over when I can for Halo and food. El tigre: Polls don’t exist anymore. So many people ask, it’s like no one read the announcement for the updated Waypoint.

I would be immensely surprised and dissatisfied if split-screen weren’t featured in H5. It’s been a vital point in the entire Halo series, as CE multiplayer was built around it. As far as career mode, I’m not sure what you mean.
Yes, and make it better than Halo 4’s. H4’s split screen caused so much lag/slowdown, to the point where it was simply unplayable, even for casual play. That and the FOV in H4’s split screen was awful, you couldn’t even see most of your gun model. The weapons get slammed up against your face, making the entire screen feel very cramped.
Also, no career mode, it has no purpose. Ever played Unreal Tournament’s single player? It was essentially a career mode, and it sucked.

First of all, that’s the dumbest change I’ve ever heard of on anything ever. And why even have the option to mark a new thread as a poll now? What even.
Secondly, no, I did not read the announcement, because I had no idea it existed until just now.

Yes. Split screen is important. Even when playing alone (sometimes you need two controllers in Forge to take neat screenshots). And if you want to play with other people that you know and enjoy spending time with in person. What do you call that? “Friends”? Yeah, friends.
By career mode I meant campaign. Sorry if this confused you.

Local Split screen is a BIG reason for Halo being the franchise it is today. That’s how millions of halo fans had first contact with Halo. Still remember the first time I played at a friends house, couldn’t even control the movement of the character, one analog to move another one to look, there were nothing like that at that time.
Unplayable split-screen is also the main reason, together with Armor As why I played too little Halo 4
Miss the LAN parties till morning playing Halo CE and Halo 2 4 vs 4 on 12’’ TVs, just a SMALL square for each player but it was awesome.

I would seriously consider not buying the game if split screen was cut. Most of my best Halo multiplayer memories are spent playing against my brother or my friend with split screen.
